Such a mediocre movie and it's too bad too because I've been waiting for this for a while. I don't understand how you can write such a terrible character with the girlfriend and have her be the focal point. The main character should've just been the boyfriend with the girlfriend plot being secondary. This seriously would've worked a lot better as a show so they could've at least stretched their blood budget better instead of having just 5 scenes with blood parties. Overall I would say the Crazies is still the best execution of this concept as a movie but if you just want gore then this is better.

It was fine. Plot was too thin and it was very simplistic and quite predictable. But the gore was good and fun and goddamn how much do I miss real effects, so much better and cooler than CGI garbage.
