I cringed at it and the mirror dance scene. It was so forced

>THATS THE MEME

It’s capeshit so I never saw it

I screamed SOCIETY

i thought it was a bit much

Attached: jokmuh.jpg (1200x800, 226.93K)

I started high-fiving everyone around me and was then asked to leave the theater fuck you cinemark!

Unironically I was smiling super wide and lounging back in the chair during the entire climax of the movie. It was a great time.

Same. From the scene where he killed Randall onwards was a mix of not being able to stop smiling and nervous laughter. Great atmosphere in the theatre too

Greatest moment in capeshit in decades.
>Muh Dark knight
No. Fuck off

Did your theater laugh when the midget couldn't open the door?

I did the soiface and texted Tyrone to set up a date with my wife

I expected it to be more awesome. In the trailer it looked great, but the music they chose sucked

Yes. The whole theater couldn't stop laughing. Then some girls said "awww" when Arthur kissed Gary's forehead

Attached: werewolf and go wild.webm (480x852, 2.97M)

I remember someone laughed when he killed Murray and got escorted out of the theater by some soldiers

Americans are a disease

That's from UK, pal. If itbwas feom America dude would be arrested right there for suspect at mass shooting

obsessed

I pulled my dick out and jerked it.

how this movie didn't get panned is beyond me

>That's from UK
yeah, the girl on the front seat is wearing a hijab

The dancing wasn’t in the trailer

The dancing scenes made NO SENSE for the character! It felt like filler to pad the run time.

All they needed was a quick throwaway line about how he FAILED out of dancing school or Job or some shit, and HAD to get a job as a Clown to pay the bills for a while. Then his dancing in the film would've made sense and added to his character.

He would've been the art-school failure like pic related.

I kinda pity you for not being able to enjoy sincerely expressive moments in film. You have to cringe to avoid the emotions it's intended to evoke for some reason... mental self defense mechanism.

I laughed + clapped before shooting into the crowd

He’s literally shown dancing during his job as a clown spinning the sign

He just likes dancing, it helps him unwind

It was in trailers so everyone already kinda had their initial rwleaction

Watched this flick 9 times in cinemas. That was before the covid bullshit hit too, so the theaters were absolutely packed. I saw women actually shocked and gasping in the theater when he fucking snapped. Great flick. Great scene. You aren't entitled to live in a safe society, bitch.

Fucking retard, he's a "DANCING clown". he dances like that at the beginning and at the hospital Are you fucking stupid?

DELETE THIS NOW! NOOOOOW!

"hey is that the stairwell from the exorcist?"
continue to think about the meaning of this shot.

>HEY THOSE NIGGER KIDS STOLE MY SIGN THAT I DIDN'T EVEN PAY FOR AND SHOULDN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT!
youtube.com/watch?v=QOZenZjStUU

Meh, I guess I'll accept that he "likes" dancing. But to me it just seems out of place.

>shouldn’t care about his sign
>is then shown he gets his pay docked for losing the sign

???

>CONTRIVED

Attached: CONTRIVED.jpg (546x341, 40.18K)

man this is why every theatre worth its salt has a DS

>Anyone else want to see fat-fuck Randall's Clown Act??

Attached: Randall as a clown_FFS.jpg (1038x863, 101.8K)

excellent bait. have a (you)

WTF, ARTHUR IS ACTUALLY A HERO?

Attached: 7e1b386f9af292e3fe4276245e80f30c.jpg (768x1132, 133.88K)

Then again, the film shows Joker as a loser, who only has himself to blame for his failures.
>Shit job
>Shit career
>No education or marketable skills
>No ambition to pursue better paying gigs, except for open-mic stand-up I guess even though he's terrible (pic related)
>Works at a Taxi Stand (whoops I mean Clown Agency lmao wtf??) Oh shit that's a real thing, except for the whole "locker room" and makeup chair thing but whatever: clowns.com/media/

>Masterpiece

Attached: Dee Reynolds_STAND UP.jpg (527x258, 27.13K)

got me in a frenzy, I finally cheered for him
some men just want to watch the world burn
am I a sociopath?

Attached: joker smile.jpg (1280x720, 92.03K)

ds?

He would've been, if the film had the balls to show a scene of the Big Guy (Randall) diddling kids, or talking about having sex with them or something to justify his death.

Attached: Randall did nothing wrong.jpg (1280x720, 44.88K)

Dedicated shooter.

I saw that the film has an interracial love angle to it and have never seen this film.

reddit is that way cuck

You know the movie is about a fucking villain and mass murderer, right? He is not doing good stuff. After he kills his mom he starts killing innocent people. Randall may be a jerk but didn't deserve to die. Same with Murray. Or the therapist at the end.

You know that I was replying to right??
>No we can't have any ambiguity in our capeshit the DIRECTOR has to SPELL IT OUT FOR THE AUDIENCE!

get the fuck out of here with your armchair psychology. there's no deep reason for why i didn't soiface at a fucking capeshit movie.

I missed it. My penis inspection went very long.

me and my squad (we're all a bunch of memelords) got up and did the Fortnite dance and sang Get Schwifty. the rest of normies took notice but but we didn't care. then a fellow gent from across the room took notice and approached, he asked "Do you know when the bacon narwals?". I tipped my fedora and summoned the nearest usher to send him his gold

>capeshit
capeshit stopped being a meme when fucking retards started taking that said meme seriously and started using it as an excuse and deflect. What happens when you can't give a good answer? Nothing. Just said buzzword of this, or that. Happened to fantasy. To Sci-Fi. Happens to every fucking place that gets filled with zoomers. Letterboxd and Twitter have ruined film criticism.
NTA.

When I first saw that scene I stood up. Everyone in the audience wondered what I was doing. Then I started clapping. That's the moment that I started crying. The guards came out with blow darts and went THOOMP into my neck. They carried me out of the theater and I missed the rest of the movie but I can say that it is an amazing movie and you should go see it

>ambiguity
Arthur is not a fucking hero. He is a mass murderer and a sociopath. If they made him a hero then the whole point of the story, that the media turns these freaks into "symbols", would be useless. NTA btw, and I don't think Arthur is a villain. But he is by no means a good person. He's selfish, petty, angry, and childlish, like Murray told him. Using his past as an excuse for murdering people. Murderers are not good people.

No, the point of the story is that no one gives a fuck about mentally ill unless they become something easy to mock, or go insane and start doing violence, so the system has an excuse to lock them up and pretend they don't exist.

I had zero investment in Joker leading up to the movie and just wikipedia'd the plot after it was released. I don't know, I never got the appeal despite finding the soi/leftist hysteria around it laughable, and I am a loser virgin myself so fit the demographic it was meme'd as being made for.

Well, you sound mentally ill, so I’m not surprised you avoid the outdoors cinema experience and don’t have an attention span for a movie

You two are a bunch of retards. Arthur is not a hero, or a villain. He's just a guy having a mental breakdown. The whole idea that he's a hero, from the poor, is because they thing he fights for them, and a villain, from the rich and elitist, like Murray and Wayne, because they prefer to ignore the problems of others and pretend everyone that disagrees with them is evil. He's not some hero or some villain, he's lashing against everything and everyone because he feels everyone ignored him when he begged for help. At the end Arthur is both a victim and a monster. There's no clear answer. He is not a good person, but everyone is as guilty of his insanity because no one really cared who he was until he put on the makeup (see what I did there?)

I watch plenty of movies, it's only Joker didn't appeal to me at all. I'm more trying to get a read on the anons that did watch it in theatres and loved it - why exactly? I have now seen the movie in full a few months ago and didn't think about it all after viewing it.

4U

I shouted
>KINO! KINOKINO!
and when some guy threw an empty cup at me I whispered under my breath..
>kino

I threw the cup. I meant to throw my empty bottle of Jack Daniels at your head but I was drunk so tossed the cup instead and then passed out. You were a fucking disgraceful disruption throughout the entire movie, you smelt, and overall a massive fucking asshole... and a good friend.

It's sad because the movie doesn't hold up on home viewing, but the theater I was at in New Haven was electric during this scene on opening night

>electric during this scene on opening night
What, as in cheering?

I thought it was hilariously cringe. Look at me I’m joker and gonna do a little dance with a cigarette.

>It's sad because the movie doesn't hold up on home viewing,
Disagree. Didn't enjoy it in theater but liked it a lot watching it with friends at my home. Maybe it was because peope couldn't stop whispering and cheering at scenes like this.
