Yep it's kino time
"I expect walk-outs, faintings and panic attacks.”
no, that's krudo time
Has he done anything good besides videodrome? Don't say naked lunch
I liked that movie with the parasite that made everyone horny
>LEA SEXDOUX
I will now watch your movie.
>no sex just gore
I will not watch your movie
>LEA SEXDOUX
I will now not watch your movie
Scanners
The Fly
The Dead Zone
Shivers
The Brood
Naked Lunch
>DUDE I SWEAR OUR MVOIE IS TOTALLY HECKIN CONTROVERSIAL
>HEY YOU'RE EDGY, RIGHT? YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS
kstew is so fucking kino still even if her last four movies have been duds.
hope it’s 20 minutes of Kristen Stewart being raped with her panties in her mouth
This is just the modern equivalent of retarded marketing from the 50's and 60's to hype shitty movies.
"$1000.00 paid in case of death by fright" - Macabre 1958
"WARNING: Disclaimer of liability..." - The Tingler 1959
Coward refund - Homicidal 1961
This. If it really was controversial, you can bet your bottom dollar that some fag would leak it because "the public has a right to know!" and the whole of twitter would be pissing and shitting themselves right now
why do I feel judged by her?
Thank God I'm prescribed Xanax. Or else I couldn't make it through this kino
by viggo or by lea with a strap-on?
Dead ringers & dangerous method
Cosmopolis was kino
Are we talking Blue Is the Warmest Color type of uncomfortable or what?
whenever they try this type of marketing it fails.
Is this a joke that he's done multiple movies with this? Because otherwise that's Shivers
By Jodie Foster in Panic Room
You can't say he didn't try to warn you.
>Stewart
Guaranteed not kino
>The House that Jack Built
Probably not gonna be more shocking than this
>À l'intérieur
Not gonna be more shocking than this
>Martyrs
Sure as fuck won't be more shocking than this.
And to my knowledge, there were no panic attacks or people fainting during the premiers of these films.
Nobody's going to see it, talk about it, or remember it 14 days after it premieres.
Nah, you're thinking of your birth.
A white nationalist is going to call a black a nigger
Dumb fuck
Nice cast
Can't go wrong with Cronenberg and Viggo
Who are you yelling at?
You forgot the rest of the scene
>... and then a bunch of white people criticize the negro for overreacting after he chimps out
Existenz
Dead Ringers
this is the lamest kind of marketing
there is literally nothing shocking or confronting in a production movie. reading the description for the movie it's probably some nihilistic pseud take on ai/god/simulation theory. either that or child gets raped.
That dialog makes no fucking sense.
true true, but viggo is in it, so it might even it out
cute tranny
History of Violence and Eastern Promises were both fucking dope
viggo probably has a 20 minute rant where he says the n word once ohh le spoiler warning
Scanners and The Fly
cool never gonna watch it
How will Cronenberg ever recover?
Vigo and seydoux are good, then stewart comes in with her smelly shit tits and ruins it all
>what is a double entendre
Based
oh cool so nothing good got it
who and who'er
hopefully by doing whatever it is he's been doing which is entirely unremarkable in every possible way
The Fly and Crash are genuinely great and unique movies. Eastern Promises, A History of Violence and A Dangerous Method are all good, if perhaps a bit conventional/unremarkable.
This is my main problem with Cronenberg. The philosophy in his films is often ridiculously ham-fisted to the point where his characters just come off as his mouthpieces.
More like make outs am I right boys
>hack faggot does hack shit
weird!
with femboys?
Has there been a recent movie that has really shocked the audience? Seems like now thanks to the internet everyone can find real hardcore stuff that will always be more shocking than a bunch of cgi and bad acting.
The Fly
The Brood
Existenz
Videodrome (as long as you ignore the idiotic philosophy that inspired the film)
All pretty good films
le joker
Can't wait to pirate it and watch it on my phone.
The only shock came from the (((journalists))) who shilled for massive shootings at the movie theaters and then nothing happened.
don't pretend like you didn't do the exact same thing here
Did anybody else really not like A History of Violence? I don't even know what it was about it, but it just all felt so bland and unengaging.
I don't think it's possible to genuinely shock anymore, the only thing you can do is spark outrage, which I don't think is quite the same thing anymore. The content itself wouldn't be shocking in any way, but rather the creator's audacity to do something in this day and age. And even then 95% of it would be performative; sycophants joining in once the the influencers decide if it's something worth getting upset over.
The journalists did the right thing.
You know how everyone on Yea Forums is a contrarian who thinks they're awesome for going against the grain? Mass shooters who are inspired by the Joker are no different. They don't wanna do things that everyone would expect.
It was edgy for the sake of being edgy. It probably got a lot of traction because it was released at a time where movies weren't that violent (2005).
It can't be any worse than my PTSD nightmares.
