Which is the best one in the series?

No, there is no fourth one, nobody has ever heard of it or knows what you’re talking about.

First one

Second one

1 > 2 >3

4th was better than the third but 2 and 1 are a hard struggle for first

First. Also, what is with all the shitty covers for their movies...who needs effort, just slap on character face and call it done. They look like shit.

First doesn't have Jessie, so second.

second has jessie, so first

What if they maybe… raised one eyebrow? And made a weird sort of cocky expression that kind of looked unnatural and unsettling?

the gaydacity of this poster.

the 4th one

There is a fourth one, you big homo faggot.

1 actually sucks and was just a meme for its time because of CG
both 2 and 3 are kino for different reasons but im gonna go with 2

They'd just look lifeless with a normal expression

3 > 2 > 1 > 4

2 was always my favorite as a kid

Shit opinion. First one has the most soul and is actually funny. Buzz is the best character and they just don't know what to do with him in 2 or 3

1 slightly better than 2. Toy Story is a classic among classics, for the sequel to have turned out fantastic was a miracle. 3 missed the mark and 4 was brain damaged, but I like 4 more only because Bo Peep having a tiny sidekick tickles my gts fetish.

Nick gets a pass because smug fox, but yeah the rest look like shit too, no creativity.

4 was good...
but 2 is the best

The more expressions the better, kids seem to like that nowadays.

None of them are bad so I don't care to rank them. They all do a good job of tackling a different life lesson, with 2 arguably being the weakest but still good.

2 didn't age well for me. It's cheesy and sappy, plus inconsequential

3rd was shitty nostalgia bait

I think the first is the overall best.
Second is my favorite.

3 was exclusively for 2010 high school graduates
t. 2010 high school graduate

2 > 1 > 3 > Turning Red > 4

Can confirm. I watched 3 when I started university and cried like a fucking bitch at the ending because I was saying goodbye to being a kid and to all the friends I grew up with. 3 was a weak movie, but the final scene with Andy is one of the best in any Pixar film.

Serious question for people rating 2 so high; Why? It feels kind of boring and boiler plate compared to the other movies and has no strong message to tell.

They destroyed Buzz in 3 and 4. Absolute shell of a character.

I think they just really like that one song? That's the only thing I can figure, because otherwise it doesn't make any sense

I think the second one but damn are those first two movies so good.

Elsa having this expression makes no sense because this isn't her personality AT ALL. She's neurotic, withdrawn and self conscious. She isn't going to DreamWorks face any time. Why did they stick with this for the marketing.

1 and 2 are both good so I don't feel the need to argue over it. 3 sucks dick and I didn't watch whatever happened after that.

It felt very acceptable to cry at the movie as a guy during that time. I know most my friends teared up a bit at it as graduates during that time.
I hate the whole 'this movie appeals to meeee'' mindset, but man I could feel the movie trying hard to appeal to our specific group.
I still thought the first and second movies were better, but the third was a great way to send off the series.

it's legitimately overrated. If we're talking CG films of that era, i'd watch Antz and Shrek over TS2 anyday

>i'd watch Antz and Shrek over TS2 anyday
Hey now, there's no need to be hyperbolic.

>but the final scene with Andy is one of the best in any Pixar film.
until he gets all autistic and starts telling the kid how to play with her new toys

4 was best. If you didn't have a childhood crush on bo peep in toy story 4 you were probably gay.

>toy story 4
>childhood
underage b&

I liked the character development with Woody and Buzz's relationship, Jessie's character, building the (for lack of a better word) Toy Story "universe", and I liked all the new characters with what they brought to the series. It felt like an organic sequel to an already wonderful movie.
Shrek and Shrek 2 are fantastic movies. I don't know if I could compare Toy Story to Shrek though, seems like apples and oranges.

i prefer something with a little more edge and wit

Antz and Shrek are fantastic movies. Shrek 2 is mediocre

didn't toy story 4 come out like last year?

it was almost 3 years ago. I was 15 now I'm 18

I still haven't seen it. Probably for the best.

My first boss always said 2 was superior, that’s because he had kids.

When I think about it, he was right

Pacific Data Images was arguably better than Pixar in their early days. Antz and Shrek 1 are awesome. Too bad that quality didn't last

Antz may have been technically better than A Bug's Life, but it is still a horrendously ugly movie. Disney understood that art direction is more important.

1 had the most soul
2 had the best jokes
3 had a good ending
4 looked dumb, didnt watch

Four was unnecessary but it wasn't bad. It had a good plot, about how a man can find himself suddenly having no direction and having to find out what his new place in the world is.

It was okay. It wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. It definetly felt like a different team made it than the first three movies. To put it in perspective, I was most interested in the side characters than I was for Buzz or Woody. My major complaint was how they left Buzz to the sidelines and seemed to undevelop his character from 3.
Yeah, that's a great way to summarize it.

i wouldn't say it's horrendously ugly. It had some cutting edge visuals for 1998

theyre all onions shit

I would. You're still focusing on the technical aspect while ignoring that all of the designs are just ugly.

Compare that to how cute Princess Atta is.

wow these are the people i share this board with

Buzz was in he wrong.

to be fair, Bug's Life was Pixar' second film, while Antz was PDI's first (they definitely improved in the art direction department with Shrek, their next film)

>Toy Story, Antz, Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Dinosaur, Shrek, Monsters Inc, Ice Age, Finding Nemo, Shrek 2, Shark Tale, The Incredibles
rank the 1995-2004 era of theatrical CG films from best to worst

Good: Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Shrek, Incredibles
Watchable: Finding Nemo, Shrek 2
Forgettable: Antz, Dinosaur, Monsters Inc, Ice Age

what about Shark Tale?
