Absolutely terrible, Snyder's worst easily.

it won an oscar

Reminder that according to Zack Snyder the whole movie is an adaptation of the Norse's Ragnarok where the merc groups serve as stand-ins for the Aesir gods while the zombies are Hella's undead being raised to wage war on the gods at the end of the world. The time loop is just the Ragnarok cycle.

I find the whole tine loop rather interesting.

Yes. It filtered millions and won an oscar.
Kino like this only comes once in a blue moon. Army of Thieves is the mainstream serving for those who can't handle this level of kino

>2nd most expensive zombie film of all time
>takes place almost entirely on 3 cheap sets because Snyder blew the budget on a tacky slow motion music video opening
Snyder really fell for the memes about himself and made the worst thing he's ever done and probably will ever do.

>calling the intro tacky
Pleb pls

The budget blew up because of Covid and one of the actors being cancelled, which created the need of reshooting.

>uses an over produced "modernized" cover of viva las vegas
>song plays in full
>not tacky
Faggot pls

Absolute snyderkino. Don't listen to the rat shills

>not tacky
Correct. It's kino. I'm sorry that you got filtered

this is one of the absolute worst movies ever made
>shit plot
>shit characters
>shit directing
zack should've seriously commit sudoku after this one

Its pure shit and even the action is fucking terrible which is not normally a problem for Zack. It honestly hard to believe the man that made the warehouse scene in BvS made this shit.

>people called Zack Snyder stupid and/or tacky for using Zombies at the end thinking he picked the song just because of the title and the movie featuring zombies in it
>when Snyder is very aware of the subject of the song and wanted to make a commentary about the zombies being a society of its own that just wanted to leave in peace but couldn't because of humans

Attached: 1642090734398.jpg (768x432, 21.85K)

>getting filtered by this Oscar Award Winning bookeh kino

Attached: 1645906810651.jpg (4096x2046, 260.5K)

Pure unbridled zombie kino

Fucking kino.

Attached: 1627427820256.jpg (1125x653, 81.31K)

>Zack Snyder remakes Robin Hood
>Where Da Hood Where Da Hood starts playing

It’s alright. Easily could have been better.

Worst. Glad his daughter killed herself. What he deserves for being such a fucking idiot.

He just wanted to kidnap female humans, impregnate them, turn them into zombies, and have a zombie family. Why couldn't they leave him alone?

Post it here, i want to see White's opinion.

Zack Snyder originally wanted to end Army Of The Dead on the moment Scott and Cruz walk in to meet Vanderohe, starting a new time loop, but he felt it'll be too on the nose.

quads of truth kek

First time I tried watching this I turned it off cause I thought it was really bad but I gave it another chance recently and it's actually kinda kino
The only thing that really took me out of the movie was the dyke comedian that was inserted in place of Chris delia
Other than that I appreciated the experimental nature of it and some of the ways it subverts zombie genre tropes
Still would but it near the bottom of my list in terms of Snyders filmography but I think I liked it more than Sucker Punch

one of the worst flicks i've ever seen, actually felt stupid afterwards for having watched the whole thing

Why so many weird shit in a movie that should have been a simple zombie movie?

Attached: 1647169147044.jpg (866x866, 45.51K)

worth a 1 time watch. the only reason people think it's horseshite is because they fell for the hype.
never watch hyped up shit or play hyped up vidya for that matter.
just wait and watch it when nobody talks about it.

you realize this and the robot zombie is just bait to trick literal brainlets like you to give the movie free publicity by talking about it online, right?
"b-but what does it mean...?" it means jack shit, it's what an impotent director fills his movie with to compensate for the lack of any character or plot development

But it does mean shit. You've this shit present in the prequel as well. The symbolism of the Norse mythology is present throughout both movies. It all has to do with gods, aliens, and the end of the world.

He made a solid simple zombie film with his Dawn remake so I was pulling for him to make a a fun film out of this premise.
But alas working on nothing but capeshit for the best part of a decade has rotted Zacks brain because capeshit isn't a genre, its a brain disease.

is this really in the film?

Zack Snyder Zombie's movie with zombie government monitoring robots, zombie kingdom with set rules and society class system, alien zombie virus with fetus/baby zombies, and fucking time travel/time-loop theoretical pseudoscience. fun stuff.

one of the best things about this movie is the sheer amount of sweaty armpit footage

Reminder that the original zombie was called an Alpha and he was white looking, and the black dude at the end that becomes a new zombie and is heading to Mexico has an Omega tattoo.

Zack does it again.

Attached: 1627309434961.jpg (1365x746, 62.86K)

According to this and the prequel Dawn of the Dead (2004) take place in the same universe.

Attached: 1626154610976.jpg (858x1128, 59.73K)

Don't let the pretty camera shots fools you, the script was written by idiot nine-year-olds

The cutes in these movies are great.

Attached: 1635677771302.jpg (2048x1536, 206.8K)

I think he wanted to film more of it on location but COVID happened and a lot of the casinos he approached turned him down for filming

That and what he shot ended up being cut because D'Elia diddled some teenagers and Netflix forced him to cut the character he played, which ended up excluding several important scenes from the movie.

oh yea I'm sure that would've made all the difference lol

Terrible movie, I could barely get through it. Horrible writing and dialogue, horrible casting, and boring and predictable story.

Reminder...

Attached: 1632060757397.jpg (1440x1440, 163.74K)

Explicitly stated that the two movies are in different cinematic universes/timelines if I remember correctly, and this is just a cheeky reference
supposedly the zombie robots will be explained in the sequel

These excuses don't make the film any better though. Its still awful and he wanted all the credit so he gets all the blame.

By the way, NETFLIX is in a bidding war to buy the rights to Suckerpunch from Warner Bros so they can release the fabled director's cut of it AND make spin-offs based on the property.

Everyone dies except Batista’s daughter

>12 years later
>lets make a PREQUEL

Attached: 13.jpg (250x250, 10.36K)

The whole movie is about Zack Snyder working through his depression after losing his daughter. The end is all about Bautista's character, who's a stand-in for Snyder, begging his daughter to end him so she can live.
Then in ARMY OF THIEVES, written and produced by Snyder, you've that German old geezer that invented the safes and entombed himself in one of his safes because he missed his dead family.

Attached: 1620797042501.jpg (1920x1080, 515.2K)

The old geezer in ARMY OF THIEVES.
I think Snyder might be slightly suicidal.

I’d be down for another story with the same set of girls but in a different reality/imagined world. Nobody cared about the plot, just the cool action anyways. Plus all the girls are still hot.

You just know that Netflix will fuck this up, though. The original was already called sexist and mysginostic despite Snyder trying to pull some feminist message out of his ass.

But he survived I don’t get it

no its very. very bad
even the retarded bank heist prequel is better

Check necklace. Those were the bodies from the previous three loops, they were the fourth and this time the black guy managed to survive, barely.

It was bad, but in a Con Air sort of way. Just charming/off-beat enough for me to enjoy it anyways. Just try not to think about it very much and you'll be fine

her tits are atrocious

It was clear that the whole project is just Snyder wasting Netflix's money to experiment and have cheeky fun.

god I want to marry her

#ReleaseTheSnyderPunch
But honestly, what would the spin-offs even be about? The main character was lobotomized. The girls were left behind in the hospice. Just one escaped and it is the most boring looking one.

WB won't sell purely to avoid further embarrassment when ANOTHER Snyder director's cut releases to acclaim
They would rather dig their feet in and burn money than that

is the synder cult just ironic shitposting that got out of hand?

Some of it, yes.
I find Army of the Dead a shitty but fun zombie movie, but i still shill it and create a bunch of self-important theories while making the movie appear the most high-brow mind-bending shit ever just to annoy the fuck out of people. I also helped voting on it for the Oscar thing since it was such a small effort and gesture.
Honestly, i will always shill for Zack Snyder just to fuck with people. It's fun as fuck.

Attached: 1630275090842.jpg (600x800, 47.79K)

Honestly, you've to be very high IQ to understand Snyder's movies. It isn't for everyone.

Attached: 1646729764655.jpg (2048x2014, 631.62K)

Ok I get it, I do the same with venom and morbius

Hell, i am also a Morbius chad. #MorbiusSweep!

guess i’ll become a synderbro then

Batman V Superman is an unironic masterpiece.
Sucker Punch was genuinely enjoyable. 300 is ne of the most quotable films of all time. Man of Steel is great aside from the weird way it transitions from an arty film about his backstory into an epic superhero fight.
The Snyder Cut is objectively a thousand times better than the crap that Whedon shat out.
Army of the Dead is fun. It's not a masterpiece and I can accept it's flawed but it was a satisfying action zombie film. There are so many anti-Snyder shills who get buttblasted by literally anything he does and lie about his films and watching them seethe is fucking hilarious

This.
I joke about the man and his movies, because it is fun as fuck, but the main reason i do that is because the dude has some literal anti-shills both in the big media and in general that unironically spend more time talking about him and his movies than actually living their lives. So annoying them is fun as fuck. Fuck, even high-top WB execs are butt-blasted about this guy. They made a The Hollywood Reporter article complaining about all the "bullying" they suffer from a director's "army".

I've never seen something like this outside of Mel Gibson and the whole Passion of Christ thing.

>satisfying action zombie film
the zombies are barely in the thing.

muh cinematic universe

But who were the zombies? What if humanity itself is the zombie?

Attached: 1633652223776.jpg (1887x1080, 99.28K)

The reason Sucker Punch was a mess is because the original movie was filled with unironic rape/sex scenes and random dance numbers. WB wanted to release it as a PG-13 and if they had kept the movie as it was it would have gotten a NC-17 rating.

his dawn remake is the film you actually want to watch. It doesn't quite beat the 70s version but is fun on its own terms. The zombies are a threat the whole time and outside of some dated musical choices the film holds up. Little bit of cgi here and there but real squibs/practical splatter where they could.

Should have changed the plot and made it about an Oceans Eleven style team trying to rob a casino when the virus hits and it all goes to shit. That writes itself.

Its like he took the most boring way of doing a fun concept.

Fuck yeah.

>pretty

stfu up snyder

I think jlsc is the best superhero film ever made.

This is the worst movie ever made.

Please stop asking this, its absolute unsalvageable dogshit.

Making the zombies a smarter undead society had potential to be fun but all it amounted to was the zombies ignoring the main characters for the bulk of the film.
Not really making good use of the heist in a zombie filled city premise if the zombies are too busy partying at the swimming pool across town to get involved with the plot.

Fpbp

The poster makes the movie look actually fun, which it absolutely is not.

>Army of Thieves
Structural mess, everything could have been forgiven if had a sex scene with Koronna, but can't have that, we need mulatress Misandei to be the main girl.

>Structural mess
What? I must strongly disagree and ask if you're thinking of a completely different film because AoT flowed very well

It was flowing well until they ditched the MC. After that the plot is essential:
>Misandei and Coronna abandon the rest of the group because they have decided that Misandei's boyfriend is an asshole
>they go back to the MC's home and meet with him (which is already ridiculous because the cops saw his face, and should have already located him)
>they somehow convince MC that they should rob the vault without the rest of the group
>they outsmart the casino owner and hijack the truck containing the vault
>Coronna gets caught walking around the crime scene like retard and isn't seen after it
>MC is able to open the vault while Misandei drives the truck, but they are ambushed by Misandei's boyfriend
>the boyfriend has randomly decided that he wants the vault despite not wanting it earlier (because he was already loaded after the second heist)
>MC pulls a gun on Misandei's boyfriend and chains him and his Jewish sidekick up
>they escape to a boat, but the cop chasing them is able to reach them
>he randomly offers to let MC go if Misandei surrenders
>encouraged by Misandei, MC decides to take the offer and leave her behind

How is this not an absolute mess?

Yes.

Attached: 2.png (897x898, 526.09K)

Nope. Absolutely terrible movie. Boring, woke, telegraphs all the "twists". The ONLY unexpected thing to happen is that the BMWF interracial sex scene at the end gets interrupted.
