Honestly how? The show is so fucking depressing and hits way too close to home for me, dead end job I hate, stuck in this exact situation (Moved to UK, nutter roommate).

In a way this is the ending you would expect from show like this; they ended up in the same place as they began, on the other hand I would preferred for Mark to end up with Sophie and little Ian in Nana's cottage as proposed first in s6e5 the Party episode by Ian and later in s9e5 Kid cave episode.
Mark, after watching whole series 15+ times I mostly focus on Mark. Mark situation is relatable. Jeremy is basically unemployed for most of the series, not very realistic
I think it was precursor to finishing of with Dobby at the end of that season, Gerard would have to stay there and without Dobby there was not point of him. Too similar to Mark in a way

Two months later we broke up so I moved out but my friend stayed there, it was big flat and they had good relationship. I find another place, 4th one, and after I moved in the other roommates told me that they are not prolonging lease for next year for some reason, so after just one month I had to find another place. I live there now, it's huge flat with 6 people so it's hard. Hopefully I finish my school in two months and I can FUCK OFF from this town.
