I seriously think the coronavirus has a reasonably high chance of crippling the US, especially its working young people, who never take off work go to the doctor because it's too expensive and they might get fired (and many of these people work in the service industry)

No country will be free of the American hegemony until they ban American media and produce solely their own media content. This will never happen in a globalised economy. The messaging in American media will continue to shape and usurp all cultures to match the source. I truly wish it wasn't so, but entertainment is the most influential medium in a globalised world.

The DOD just stockpiles arms indiscriminately. At any given point we have about 2,600 more nukes than whichever nation's arsenal comes second, and roughly 90% of all of it is unmaintained. This isn't a secret BTW literally just fucking google it.

China is the main pretender and their growth has decelerated, their internal disputes accentuated, while USA is not living any particular crisis, it's just in slow steady fall and is totally in control of the world's information, which is the more valuable resource of today. Could take from 30 to 130 years, depending on any particular event that happens in the meantime and we'd be unable to predict.

After the Anglo-Zionist Empire is over there will no longer be a world power, it will become multipolar, since Russia and China don't have bases installed in every country, they don't have a network of control. All countries will be able to defend their hegemony if they have atomic arsenal.

I'm not here argue, autist. It's 3 am and I'm just avoiding studying for midterms. For regulatory purposes, going on the books as 'unmaintained' means that it doesn't work, which is most of it. Not that it even makes a difference seeing as how what little of it is verifiably functioning could end the world several times over. The trend across history is the move from tribes to feudal kingdoms to empires to imperial powers. Power is never diminished, it only changes shape. With each era, power becomes more collaterized and interconnected, yet simultaneously more inconceivable. This is a core tenant of the shift from the more traditional dynamics of domination into hegemony not unlike of business mergers and acquisitions, which will likely be the end of the United States should it merge with another superpower.

A long time. We've reached an era where the powers that be are so overpowered. Any societal collapse caused by economy will be endured. Anything riot-induced will be minor, and the chaotic power vacuum it creates will quickly be suppressed, plastered in with military, thanks to today's advanced communications & response technology and armed forces. Something biological is already happening, but it's nothing: Three thousand dead worldwide. Three thousand. You know how many, alone, die to cigarettes in the USA per year?
The only thing keeping this from continuing is nuclear war, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. Noone with radioactive toys is getting crazy. Fat cats all agree on getting fatter.

I can imagine a 'sleeper' disinformation agent suddenly getting 'woken up' by The Gov't to pound these posts out on his keyboard.
