The problem with the Americas is that so much of the lowly classes of European filth emigrated their with their underdeveloped genes and peasant ways. In my city, for example, one of the largest metropolitan areas in the US, there are still peckerwoods who will laugh at you if you express higher aspirations than being a welder or a hardwood floor layer. Manual-labor dumb-dumbs that struggle to make ends meet their entire lives, spend their entire afternoons boozing and watching shitty TV, then when they go broke they vote for populists because they're desperate and too dumb to know where to assign blame.

Nietzsche described 'the mediocre man' as the opposite of the superman. Nietzsche warned that the rise of the mediocre man is the downfall of Europe. A mediocre man is someone who does not try to suffer and nver exerts will or strives. Nietzsche wrote to the readers that they will suffer more than anyone else and they have to suffer more than anyone else.

Read Kant or Nietzsche. Kant was very contemptful of happiness. Nietzsche taught readers to suffer more than anyone else.

According to Rousseau, people are so envious because of the way we are brought up as kids. We are taught to compare ourselves to other people, grading system in school is always comparing you to other kids. So we keep on having a mind pattern of comparing to other people according to a value system. So when we compare, when someone has something better than us, we feel envy. If we did not compare ourselves to others, we would just think each person has their own thing going on for them and thats all.
