I am graduated and considering doing a major in something completely unrelated to actually get a job. But because I majored in English I have non of the math pre-reqs for any program worth doing, so I have to start over on math
It will set me back at least a year or so just to get the pre-reqs to do a masters in something else

I fell for the meme and went for lit&language (equivalent of your English courses). My disillusion with academia and fellow students aside, I quickly learned that I will starve to death, homeless if I stick with it. Almost everyone in my classes was loaded thanks to their parents, and those that weren’t were usually 7-10/10 thots who won’t need to work a day in their lives, hubbie will provide. I attended for a year then fucked off to work at a real job for another one and study history so I can go back and study law instead.

OP, this is the single best advice you’ll get in this thread. This user, perhaps unknowingly, figured out the answer to the test. The answer is to stop trying to pass and go take another test. The degree system is rotten to the core and they’ve provided you with the illusion of choice to a degree which has convinced you that “if you had just studied X it would’ve worked out” but the reality is that you’re nearly as likely to have been in the same shoes if you had studied Engineering even. Degrees don’t get you jobs. They don’t even educate you. They’re decorations of letters for the middle class and at one point, they naturally funneled people into the more guilder middle class jobs. The unfortunate reality is that there simply aren’t enough comfy white collar office jobs to go around and what little there are end up offshored or outsourced for higher profit margins. In white collar land, this user is an operating expense and nothing more. He went to an area where he’s an asset. The system is fucked and nobody is finding work easily anymore. Pay is down and hours up, but there’s still work to be had in the places you have do actual, real, hard work on something tangible, maybe dirty or even dangerous. If you want to pursue the dream, or what you consider your dream now maybe, and go to grad school then go for it, but don’t fall for the trick of school for a job. They’re getting you to chase the carrot that you will never get. Sure, you can choose between coke and pepsi and see if you quench your thirst. They’ll sell you like crazy on the coke and pepsi. It might even work out for some people. Look at how good they have it. They’re not thirsty and they get a tasty beverage. In all likelihood though, you won’t be satisfied until you just walk away from the snack aisle and get some water. My honest two cents.

I loved majoring english. i'm 2 years out from graduation now and life a confusing blur without any progress toward the kind of work i want to do. sometimes i think things will turn out alright. sometimes i don't think i'm going to make it. nobody's going to work it out for me.

Feels so good bro, studying chemical engineering, I row on the river every weekend and train with the crew club, and I read comfy books at night before bed. Currently reading the Aeneid. My 5th year is expected to be a full year paid internship with mega pharma companies like Pfizer. Best part is as I'm European I dont have any student debt. Majoring in English is about studying texts and their meaning, rhetoric and persuasive speech and writing, technical communication, editing, copywriting, and much more. I literally had to take a digital webpage design class as part of my English major where i learned HTML and CSS.

ATC is a mix between an IQ, memory, and multitask problem solving. The other tests for that management trainee job were more straight IQ and verbal reasoning.

I did fairly well on lsats but I realized a few months ago that minorities get a couple extra points when they apply and at this level a single point is the difference between getting into Harvard or not. On one hand I can partially blame myself since i have room to improve but on the other hand I feel very discouraged about taking part in this antiwhite system and I dont really want to support it with my money anymore.
