Does anyone else do this or am I just severely autistic? I don't have goodreads because I think that's gay

I mean it's definitely autistic but, don't let that stop you.

I create a google drive folder for every author and create a document for every book where I take notes. I do the same thing with art and music

Have you read these books? Pretty based, keep doing it.

Pretty autistic, but don’t worry. I do it too.

Not yet, I do it whenever I start a new book by an author if I like him/her and want to read their complete works.

I'm sorry but this repulses my irises, stop being stupid and use goodreads so I can stop these ugly feelings I have towards you.

I just record them on a text file.

>Ugh, it makes me so angry when people don't use a popular website that promotes retardation, mass illiteracy posed as literacy, and stupid flabby opinions about great books such as "It was good, but it just didn't click with me." 3/5. and *something illogical about the bible* "Heh it's so unrealistic." 1/5 in their avatar featuring a disgusting man with balding hair, a black t-shirt, and a grotesque face.
>Ugh, Why can't you just conform instead of using your meticulously neat excel sheet you made yourself that is much easier to use than good reads.
>Gosh you're stupid unlike me, who is super rational and not a conformist-consumerist slave in the slightest.

I used to do that. It functions the same, but I found excel to be neater.

Yes.

>Does anyone else do this
Yes.

>or am I just severely autistic?
Yes.

>i cant handle someone saying something i don't like

You are beyond retarded, you couldnt handle me doing something you didn't like. Stop being a kike.

Seethe harder snowflake

>Snowflake
Jesus fuck go back to whatever sub-corner of mainstream conservatism on Twitter you crawled out from.

Ours look very similar. I find it helps me to see where an idea was introduced to my thought process.

Are you seriously so retarded that you can't figure out how to use goodreads for your own purpose and have to resort to the depravity that is Microsoft Excel? Hahahahahaha.

>Are you seriously so retarded that you can't figure out how to use goodreads for your own purpose and have to resort to the depravity that is Microsoft Excel?
I can use it, but I don't want to. It's stupid, the rating system is stupid, the reviews are stupid, the selections are limited. What difference does it make?

There is a COLOUR that will never exist on a lifeless spreadsheet. Even if you dislike most of the "community" you have the feeling of a connection to a world of like minded people, many of whom you are able to obtain valuable recommendations from. Idk, maybe we're both autistic.

I don't want a connection, I want something practical to note the books I've read and want to read that is convenient for me. I talk to my irl friends about books. Goodreads also doesn't usually have pages for individual short stories.

this is from e-macs org-mode or something like that isn't it?

Ever heard of goodreads?

read the thread, retard.

Hello my fellow autist brother!

nice try, Bezos.

You should put the date you start and that you finish each book, as well as how many pages did it have and if it was a digital or a physical copy.
I have the same "autism" and I do the same as you plus those things I previously listed, but I lost trace of some of my reads and failed reads so there's what it is.

>Even if you dislike most of the "community" you have the feeling of a connection to a world of like minded people, many of whom you are able to obtain valuable recommendations from.
You're a weak little man. Pity.

I also write a small review but it's cringe so it's not here

>You should put the date you start and that you finish each book, as well as how many pages did it have and if it was a digital or a physical copy.
This is a good idea, thanks user.

nice!

No, I just prefer the name in english, also it's pt br

It is a bit autistic, but i think I'm goig to start doing it becasue goodreads is cancer

beats the purpuse of such a database

not really, there is a space right there for the language I read it in

The only issue is that you use the virgin excel type table instead of the chad database.
Trust me, you should set up a tag feature.
