well now that i think about it the go-getter seems like a prerequisite to the ubermensch.

>takes his health seriously
'Formerly, all the world was mad,' say the most refined [last men], and they blink... One has one's little pleasure for the day and one's little pleasure for the night: but one has a regard for health. We have invented happiness,' say the last men, and they blink."

No. The Overman is "above" the human in that he/she's experienced everything there is to experience as a human, and integrated it within him/herself, effectively "overcoming" it. The Overman is Nietzsche's milestone man among all milestone men, the synthesis of everything human, and consequently beyond everything human as a result. The Overman understands everything so far understood and loves everything so far loved. All this of course means that the problems of "materialism" and "subjectivism" and "Platonism" and "knowledge" and "truth" and "morality" and everything else philosophers prior to Nietzsche concerned themselves with are behind the Overman, no longer a concern of great importance, not because the Overman does not understand these problems anymore, but because he/she is already the living embodiment of the solution to them.

based and succinct analysis.

This does not sound possible at all. Then again, I figure the Übermensch is more of an ideal to strive towards, instead of a concrete goal. The eternal setting sun to chase on the horizon.

global technocapital is the overman

Is Dr Manhattan the übermensch?

>This does not sound possible at all.
t. untermensch

goddamnit i wish i werent such a fucking normalfag to the idea of the ubermensch because this sounds like such an interesting question

Watch the first Highlander movie if you want a good artistic representation of the Overman. Just ignore the last 30 seconds of it that were shoehorned in unnecessarily.

No, Dr. Manhattan is a omniscient god-like being. The Übermensch is a man.

No, an übermensch is someone who has moved beyond the chains of Abrahamic pleb cope garbage and has begun establishing his own value in the world. Once one outgrows Abrahamism and the three headed hydra it's represented by, the way is clear towards a betterment of humanity beyond itself. First though, we need to destroy Abrahamic religion and morality, and realize that they're little more than really complicated ways to fiddle with kids

A go-getter that sets his goals based on his personal desire, rather than societal expectations. The second part is very important too

>has begun establishing his own value in the world

That's a stage way before the overman.

That's a lot of people. There are few societal expectations left in atomized societies.

Transvaluation is the starting gun, not the checkered flag.

you've managed to say nothing at all congratulations

You are nothing at all, hence your brainlet take.

These analyses are a bit too simple and so they miss something that's crucial to the Overman. The Overman is also someone who is not afraid to commit any of the sins when necessary for increasing one's power; he/she in fact enjoys committing them, not as catharsis or guilty pleasure, but because of the feeling of one's power increasing. The Overman is beyond guilt and regret. Theft, murder, rape, etc. is not something the Overman is afraid of or made guilty by. That's what the Dionysian is.
