How different Danish to German?

the hardest part of danish is the pronunciation. To me danish sound weird . But the grammar in danish is a lot easier and similar to English. Danish and German share some vocab but not much since there are in separate branch of the language family (north and west ) . also no noun case and verbs ending base on person in danish.
