Considering that from here on the surviving corpus for each important philosopher increases exponentially, I’m going to have to start being a little more selective in my reading. What should I read for Aquinas and St. Augustine? Was thinking about the Penguin Selected Writings for Aquinas and City of God/Confessions for St. Augustine.

honestly, as long as you are and have been doing the daily Mass readings, along with (if you'd really like to be a good Catholic) the Office of Readings each day, you can go right ahead to St. Aquinas. Reading the Bible through on your own is a Protestant meme, the Church encourages the laity to take things slower in the context of the Mass/Liturgy/Divine Office for a reason
