The works critiquing modernity are really good and worth it. Crisis of the Modern World and Reign of Quantity. The “perennialist” / metaphysical stuff less so. It’s oriental exoticism and liberal “we’re all the same bro” philosophy. The dude wished he was a parket and ended up betraying tradition for sand culture.

you disgust me

But he's right?

Yes, more so than any other meme author that people spam on Yea Forums
>t. too dumb to understand metaphysics

>old good new bad
>tradition gives you access to eternal truth and metaphysical reality bro materialism bad hacky spiritualism good
>also yeah fuck all these real philosophers and scientists bro they are jews listen to me I have the REAL truth
he is a retard literal who and only known by nutjob reactionaries and contrarian weebs

Prince Charles thinks so.

>this is what a guenonian looks like
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olavo_de_Carvalho

yeah just go read real philosophers.

>retard is a phoneposter
wow how surprising

are his books on symbolism good?

Weird looking mfer

his wikipedia page was completely forged to taint his reputation (exactly what brazilian newspapers do weekly in the lowest forms possible), just like evola's page.

>f-fake news!
embarrassing. just admit that tbey are hacks and read real philosophy.

>abandon the truth and just listen to what the media desperately tries to instill in order to attain their own interests without discussing logically about intellectual factors and resorting solely to personal attacks.

they are some of the best writings on symbolism that have been published

implying those hacks have grasp on so called truth and arent total amateur metaphyscians. and the sources are all there on the wiki article you call fake news on whatever you dont like because you are a brain dead ideologue.

Crisis of the modern world is pretty short, just read it and see if it's to your liking.

>amateur metaphysicians
supposing so, they are at least in the right path - the path of truth - and have developed a much wider intellectual horizon than that from people like you.

>you are a brain dead ideologue
you are just proving my point that personal attacks are nothing but sentimental onrushes made by people who try to conform everything to their individual, particular points of view.

>the path of truth
This has been BTFO'd already. The traditionalists are nothing but ideologues. They are snake oil salesmen that claim to have access to so called truth and have a trancedental view above everything.

>t. Marxist who claims his truth is the actual truth

>...and more personal attacks.
thanks for having proved my point.

> liberal “we’re all the same bro” philosophy
You didn't read him then. He only says that primordial tradition has to be the same. He frequently says that different societies have degenerated to different degrees. If everything was the same he wouldn't have converted to Islam. And his critiques of the modern political world are completely based upon his metaphysics. Without the metaphysical backing, his societal critiques are completely pointless.

I literally see you in everyone Guenon thread spamming the same epithets like "snake oil salesman" and "carpet dealer." not an argument

>parket
parakeet*

he just wanted to fly up and away from this sad modern world, but alas did not have the wings

Sounds like he was a larper who indulged to much in ideology

>indulged to much in ideology
Go back to high school. You can't even form a sentence properly.

>anyone who doesn't uncritically adopt the current fashionable political and metaphysical views promoted by the society they happen to be born into is a larper
>being this dumb

yes

>. Crisis of the Modern World and Reign of Quantity.

I read crisis and liked it, but I figured Reign was getting into like esoteric hinduist stuff so I haven't read it.

What is Reign about exactly? Should I check it out if I'm already a Christian?
