Honestly, if you were to make a truly Catholic political party, it would probably at least have the following positions:
*anti-abortion
*anti-gay marriage
*anti-pornography
*pro-universal health care
*pro-protection of the environment
*pro-paid maternity and paternity leave
*pro-clean energy
*anti-birth control
*anti-death penalty (in most cases)
All of these are consistent with the actual teachings of the Church.

The tropes or Nel-Trads are so completely tried out and discarded. Yes, they are good ideals, but grandstanding that TRADITION will revive the West is asinine. What is dead is dead, and the dead does not inspire the living. No one (in their perceived autonomy) will regress back to something they associate with racism, sexism, disease, and despair. If Neo-Trads were smart, they’d instead be pushing liberalism and authoritarianism against their core values.
