>I LOVE CAPITALISM I LOVE CAPITALISM *on the clock 24/7 with no benefits because of "entrepreneur" and "gig economy" jargon that tells them they're being proactive by being a fucking moustache-waxing hipster douche with a Twitter and no steady career, and because they can be bribed with beanbag chairs and hammocks in the fucking office to entice them to sleep there.* >I LOVE CAPITALISM I LOVE CAPITALISM *Is made to dance around in the morning and talk about how much he loves his boss to make a healthy workplace environment* >I LOVE CAPITALISM I LOVE CAPITALISM *Submits to the work can be fun we are a family culture* >I LOVE CAPITALISM I LOVE CAPITALISM *Let's CEO fuck his wife while he works overtime* >I LOVE CAPITALISM I LOVE CAPITALISM *Gives up on his creative interests and works a boring office job for the rest of his life and feels self satisfied because of how "practical" he is being* >WE LOVE CAPITALISM HERE YOU COMMIE WE ARE NOT LETTING YOU TAKE OUR FREEDOM AWAY MOVE TO VENEZUELA OR NORTH KOREA IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE LOL *Gets laid off and is forced to retrain pajeet to replace him who will work his job for a fraction of his pay*
Is there anything more cucked than supporting capitalism when you are not one of the oligarchs?
Communism is shit too. There are pluses and minuses to both. Honestly, my main gripe with commies is the rabid atheism and materialist (philosophically) worldview. If they got rid of that I could get behind it. Also the idpol that has infected leftist thought. Absolute shit.
Landon Stewart
>I think in terms of capitalism vs X >I think in terms of political dichotomy Leave. Now.
Logan Cox
desu
Robert Evans
Idpol is more a consequence of liberalism than leftism desu, it's just that it's accepted uncritically by young people who consider themselves on the left
Also forms and philosophies of communism and socialism go way beyond strict Marxism t. Catholic socialist
Honestly I bet the average East-German lived in better conditions during the 80's than the average American now.
Jordan Young
I'm not a Christian, I'm a "deist" with an interest in metaphysics and the occult. I couldn't get behind a form of communism that was Christian exclusivist, emphasis on exclusivist.
Jaxson Smith
Take the Whiteheadian aesthete/ecological socialist pill
Not actually saying you should look into or accept Christian forms of socialism/communism my fren
Just noting that the materialist underpinning of the kind of theory you've seen so far is not the only way to approach it. So you could look into forms of communism that involve concepts you do believe in
Noah Wright
capitalism is pretty cool if you aren't a wageslave
Jack Lopez
>any form of socialism that isn't inherently atheistic which is pretty much all of them. socialism is just a wussy form of communism tho. i don't want to 'feel the bern' with a bunch of pothead college kids
Ryder Richardson
>So you could look into forms of communism that involve concepts you do believe in I'm not aware of any. I've made a thread about this before and no one could suggest any writers that fit "communism plus the metaphysics/deism/occult minus atheism". if you know of any, let me know
Gavin Bailey
>FULLY AUTOMATED LUXURY GAY SPACE COMMUNISM WITH TRANS CATGIRLS I fucking hate that the left has been so thoroughly infiltrated and now defined by those kinds of gay ass nerds. Watching everyone get furious at the red scare girls for making fun of Portland antifa really depressed the fuck out of me. If going outside and marching/protesting/whatever means that there are going to be pictures of me standing next to a fucker in a fursuit doing a black power fist, I'll just stay home. >"Their identity shouldn't matter! So what if they're a furry, they're still a comrade! :3 It's fucking lame and I won't be seen with it.
Christian Collins
Ellul is the newer face of christian anarchism, you might be interested with his theological works
Jack Bell
Bernie isnt a Socialist he is a standard socdem
Jackson Cox
Communism is pretty outdated. Pretty much everything about it has been refuted except for the socialist part.
Brandon Howard
I fully sympathize with this sentiment. Americans ruin everything they touch. I'm pretty sure all this disgusting "lol be whatever identity you want" crap stems from American consumerist culture.
interdasting, I've read Eliphas Levi's Transcendental Magic, and I recall their being some vaguely "revolutionary" political sentiment, but not much more to go on then that.
Wyatt Williams
I don't particularly know, when I was interested in the occult I wasn't into leftist theory, kek
However you do mention you don't go for "Christian exclusivism". Authors and activists from Catholic socialist/communist viewpoints rarely take the exclusivist route. The "Christian" part is a grounding for the assumptions they take and their morality more than anything else
You might like reading The Long Loneliness by Dorothy Day. It'll make this aspect more palpable
Camden Gomez
That DSA video shows the doom of the American left. Every lame shut in with a tanky anime girl avatar posts about bashing fash and guillotines but can only take part in political organizing if there are no loud noises or whispering because their anxiety and stimulus issues might make it impossible for them to be in the fucking room.
>"Arm the workers" >Has too much anxiety to own a fucking BB gun.
The amazon has been on fire for 16 days now, love to see it. End this shit.
Joshua Flores
Wait you were serious. Can you explain the whole magic thing to me. Are you insane or mentally disabled in anyway?
Justin Edwards
I’m no shill for capitalism, but I recognize something about the capitalist system is working properly if we are able to receive goods and services while allowing technology to advance.
Can somebody explain to me how “trade”, “money” and “employment” is different from capitalism? You are employed based on your skills, you earn money, your money allows you to trade. Commies tell me trade isn’t capitalism but I have never had somebody explain to me why.
Brandon Martinez
>*basedboi wojak face* "OH BOY I LOVE POSTING BASEDJAKS AND CREATING OFF-TOPIC POSTS! ANYONE WHO DOES SOMETHING I DONT LIKE IS A BASEDJAK REEEE!!! WHY DONT PEOPLE DO EVERYTHING I SAY! WHY DONT PEOPLE THINK EXACTLY THE SAME THINGS I WANT THEM TO! REEE!" Saged and reported
Jaxon Smith
Thank you for this recommendation, man
Matthew Green
Nope. I know your materialist/naturalist presuppositions preclude any possibility of paranormal phenomena, but they are real. Your presuppositions need to change in order to fit the facts, not the facts to your presuppositions.
>doing the same thing he's complaining about yikes
Lucas King
There's still trade in a socialist society. The difference is capital, as in owning private property that you profit from. Insanely reductively/simply put:
Capitalism allows me to control private property that I inherited/bought (probably with inherited wealth), after buying private property I can employ people to use my capital to produce things. They do all the work and I collect the surplus value of their labor ad infinitum. Socialism gets rid of the capitalist and gives the control of that surplus value to the workers who produce it. The product still gets made and traded, but the people who make it decide what happens with the profit. Workers own the means of their production (the capital), instead of an owning class.
Eli Jenkins
Correct but this is retarded because having a private owner gives the worker more advantages than controlling the mop themselves
Jaxson Lopez
>*Let's CEO fuck his wife while he works overtime* This sounds really hot though. Hopefully she records it.
Angel Foster
I don't know if this works, but Eliphas Levi (take things he says with a grain of salt, he's a bit theatrical, maybe verging on pseudo-occult) says that if you breath in a girls nose she will become obsessed or very preoccupied with you. You would have to do it subtly without her noticing during conversation. By the way, I don't practice magic, I'm only interested in the theoretical side of the occult. I think the practice is mostly a waste of time, I'm more about the metaphysics/knowledge side.
Austin James
Wait so you could actually do magic but you don't think that's interesting enough
Jaxon Ortiz
>having a private owner gives the worker more advantages than controlling the mop themselves Name one.
Jayden Cruz
Np fren, if that one gets too autobiographical for your tastes and you crave a more thought-and-principle thing, read her Loaves and Fishes in which the movement is explained as for its philosophy and how it acted
Jaxson Lee
It genuinely doesn't interest me. Sorry. I've had paranormal experiences tho (out of body experience, for example, clairvoyance, etc), but they were fairly spontaneous
William Rodriguez

Noah Lopez
Shut up commie. You can't say the system doesn't work, we just have to wait longer and the wealth well trickle down eventually. Put your faith in Trump and his jewish overlords.
Nicholas Fisher
Any debt the company acquires is stuck to the owner and not the workers as a whole. You don't have to buy in at 20k to work at a company like most cooperatives do (lol).
Juan Davis
Worker ownership isn't the only alternative to capitalism friend :)
Kayden Cox
Aren't work conditions in capitalist countries overall better, though? Sure, I dislike working hard as much as most people here, but at least my current conditions aren't what Soviet workers experienced under Stakhanovism, or what Chinese workers experience under the "966" working hour system.
Many people seem to believe that under communism they will be free to laze off and enjoy the hobbies, but historical experience shows the opposite. Communist regimes, having to compete with more established capitalist ones, usually require a larger amount of hard labour from the working classes, specially as since the profit incentive is removed they can only require in ideological manipulation and brute force to achieve higher productivity. In the end, the working council manager can be as exploitative as the CEO, if not more.
I think this misconception of communism as a laid-back utopia is derived from the 1980s, when many communist regimes stagnated or relied on foreign loans, but remember that these regimes collapsed and those communist countries that were ascendant (or those that still exist today) rely on hard work from their productive classes.
Noah Nguyen
This is the kind of bullshit socialists say that makes me want to quit this retarded at times until I realise that I will never leave
Nolan Cox
Are you new? Not real socialism.
Levi Jones
>implying the right isn't completely idpol as well
Carter Walker
Thx for replying. Most wealth isn’t inherited, workers assume no risk, having workers run business isn’t illegal but it isn’t popular because it’s inefficient. Technology would not advance the same way. I am all for improving on capitalism but you have ti be kind’ve retarded to think that would be a better system unless you are admitting its more fair but at the cost of technology, goods and services.
The only way that debt gets payed is to extract profit from the workers, the workers pay the debt anyways.
Adrian Torres
Actually you have to go back
Isaac Edwards
No when the company fails the workers just move to a different company. You don't have to pay the million dollar loan your company has.
Juan Richardson
what part of "is shit too" did you not get? Was it the "too" part?
Evan Perez
>workers assume no risk Just their livelihoods. It's only the petite-bourgeois who actually risk anything. Once you have enough capital there is no risk.
Jonathan Watson
If it's so easy when you have capital why don't you go get a loan and get some capital?
Eli Gomez
Fuck no.
T. Someone from there.
Thomas Smith
we getting pruned in about 30 seconds boys get ready
Carson Watson
wtf i love capitalism now
Jaxon Reyes
>having workers run business isn’t illegal but it isn’t popular because it’s inefficient. The workers don't collectively run everything in the sense I think you're talking about. There can still be managers and those who direct the labor in a workplace, but they own just as much of the workplace as those who do the actual labor. Everyone isn't in charge of everything, they simply have equal stakes and outcomes.
Ryan Young
posting in ebic bread so i can make it to the genocide list by janny
Dude just put humanity in the hands of the shareholders. Making sure the ultrarich accumulate the most wealth possible at the expense of the earth and everyone else on it is THE best system we can come up with and doesn't need to ever change. Improving on this is literally impossible for us as a species.
Bentley Taylor
In some places managers are elected and the workers can vote to fire them if they arent doing their job well
Kayden James
That'd make me a "petite-bourgeois." Meaning that'd Id assume massive risk.
Michael Baker
The progressive left's corruption of capitalism isn't true capitalism.
Why would you talk such inerudite nonsense? Are you a socialist kiddie or are you simply intent on metaphorically letting your vocal chords do some flapping about on a sudanese cassava growing imageboard. You are not even realising you're shitposting.
Henry Barnes
The /pol/children are here, mods nuke this thread before they spread their germs

this is the life you live, user. things are the way they are, and can only be the way they are. worship it all as you would worship god, unironically
Justin Brown
Reduce CEO salaries, eliminate stock buybacks, establish single payer healthcare, tax capital gains, and capitalism will fine.
