Who is the literary equivalent of Glenn Gould?

nah

Music and literature are not comparable at all in terms of experience.
But the answer is me.

Someone autistic and untalented

>untalented
What authority are you?

I play the piano

Poorly.

Gould sucks. Every high quality recording of him has him autistically grunting noises while he is playing and he has no sense of tempo and will arbitrarily pause. Gould was a pseud hopped up on amphetamine. It is the drug and not the man responsible for his talent.

I'll bite. Somebody who's obsessed with orthodoxy, but works within it to stretch its boundaries.

I've got no fucking clue, but I don't read enough to keep up here to be honest. One of the Romantics? Literature seems to have progressed a little faster than music in this regard.

Gould made classical music intimate. God knows after 400 years somebody had to.

>he doesn't understand rubato
>he got filtered by the humming

Utterly unlistenable

Tell that to Bernstein (who I'm sure you think sucks too).

The humming is so good

Bernstein sucks really bad
t. other user.

If I learn to play well enough, like really exceptionally, but I fart during every performance, will people say that it augments the performance? That it's "so good?" That the farting is a pleb filter?

>he sucks lol
Are you 12? Or just lazy?

No. This comparison is stupid.

I fucking hate his interpretations. And his harvard lectures are a joke

I don't care what you think, you're retarded.

>mmm....crayons...ngnnnhh

Notice how the pseuds do not have arguments.

pleb.

Neither do you. (not a fan of bernstein btw.)
