Set a few decades in the future, a professor is tasked with teaching an AI philosophy. Could either go 2 ways: the AI can learn formal logic at most, but cannot philosophize in the way humans can (lame humanist ending); or, the AI surpasses the professor and his colleagues, cranking out publications by the second, solving centuries-old problems, etc. and the jealous academics destroy it because they would rather preserve their egos than advance the human race

Nor guy, nor reader can`t suppose what actually it might to be, but character trying to overcome, trying return to normality. Mr Black is a brilliant, brilliant young novelist who has been told what his literary talents are. He thinks he can be funny and interesting if he can invent a few funny characters who are both attractive and witty. As it happens, he makes an excellent team of the three of them, who become friends, which is what the story is about. His main plotline is about what Mr Black thinks of when writing: The three of them are drawn together by a common interest, but this fact of the novel's plot does not change with the change in the time that each author has lived. If one author changes at any given moment, what they want to talk about is never the same as what happened on the previous day.

When the author changes, it is for no more than three or four months, with the time it takes to come back to a point on his work changing by only about five years. For Mr Black this time off took him three weeks. Each of the three fictional characters is the author of the other two in their plot written by their character.

A man is hired as the chief of a company that owns a massive shopping mall, including buildings ranging from 50,000 to 500,000 square feet on both sides of the shopping street. Each building has different architectural designs and functions, but one idea at the center of the shopping mall is that people want to move into the large, tall buildings to be more urbanized, while those with smaller homes in the suburban areas want to live closer to the city.

This story is told through the eyes of a young (25-54, female) woman, who becomes intimately familiar with all aspects of the building she lives in, while having a series of experiences surrounding the store in her daily life. Throughout, the woman sees a large swath of the city, the vast majority of its residents who live in areas just off the main grid. However, her daily life is not completely uneventful, as she continues to have an impact on the company, the store, and the society within the shopping mall and the population in general, especially considering that her home town is located near the center of much of the city.

Two cops are sent to a suburban house after neighbors became concerned from not seeing the family that lives there (a dad, mom, and son) for a couple of days. Upon arriving everything seems fine and the cops are satisfied as the dad tells them they are just enjoying some time around the house. The cops interact with the mom, son, and even family dog and then leave. Upon leaving it is revealed that the father is capable of telepathy and has murdered his wife, son, and even dog (he was annoyed by them) and keeps them moving with his mind. He moves their blood, heart, and cells to keep them from rotting and their face and vocal cords to interact with people. He finally has his peace and quiet.

A random simple citizen, who hates mayor's guts for ruining his city with corruption and being a parasite on people's money, replaces him and does the same thing. And then he also gets replaced by another corruptioner. The cycle continues until citizens decide to not have Mayor at all.

Two ideas:

A fallen angel in hell comes to care about the humans he is assigned to torture, and attempts to soften his tortures or hide them from the suffering that's supposed to be inflicted on them. This is really difficulty, since his supervisor keeps interfering and trying to suggest new tortures for his assigned humans.

A Taiwanese woman, her husband, and son arrive in Australia to start a new life. At first the husband is excited and enthusiastic, buying them a home and putting himself into debt. After a year, he becomes homesick and abandons his wife and son, to return to Taiwan. Now alone, the wife does her best to settle into her new country and support her young son. As she establishes herself, she falls in love with her neighbour, a police officer and enters into a secretive relationship with him as her only means of romantic and erotic comfort. Just when she feels comfortable in her life life, her husband returns and demands that she follow him back to Taiwan or else...

A mercenary finds himself torn between two women after a terrorist attack occurs under his watch. One is a thirty-something American executive desperate for a man in her life, the other is the daughter of a Moroccan millionaire who may have had a hand in the attack...

Two government agents, both females about 30 years old (one of them may or may not be a 6 feet tall anthropomorphic canine), are tasked with evaluating a sizable patch of land in the country and all the things it holds: it is now a government land, as the owner of the plot died without appointing any heirs.
In the house that stands on this plot our heroines find all kind of unusual and curious items and objects that tell a grand story about their previous owner's rich and eventful life — which, being females, they completely fail to comprehend.
They also have a lot of sex.

I have a book idea but I'm not sure if I stole the idea.

I was reading the start of a mans search for meaning and one paragraph talked about how hard it was to get out of the camps. He mentioned that those who got out knew that the best of them did not escape.

So I thought it would be a cool idea to have a book based on Auschwitz with lots of back stabbing and mental torture shown in all aspects but maybe the theme would be science fiction instead. The idea isn't to come off anti-Semitic but to show how harsh a system can be.
Did I steal this idea essentially?

A man is late. If he doesn't get to his destination in time, he'll face dire consequences. He utilizes every tool at his disposal: he runs, and jumps, and swims, and asks and lies to and threatens and bribes the others, sabotages a wedding, hijacks an ambulance — and get there in time. But it was all in vain, and the consequences are already in force. In the end, he shoots a bystanding tapir out of frustration.

I was hanging out with my stoned brother and we were talking about the town we lived in. Basically, I've known all kinds of people, military people, models, people of high class but all of them, for some reason or another, can leave but always end up coming back.That being said, here's my idea.
An ex-hitman, a soldier, a billionaire playboy, a golf instructor and a rich college student, all born into this town somewhere in CA. The weather there is about 115 on a daily basis during summer and there's nothing at all to do there. All of them have the resources to leave, but somehow, the town is like a pit, one that you can crawl out of but inevitably will fall back into.
It probably be some sort of supernatural mystery. I'd write it myself, since I do quite a bit of writing, but it's not exactly my style. Someone finds it interesting, lemme know.

Mom finds user's diary and gets it published — almost unedited, and it's a national bestseller. The story is about user dealing with the consequences and trying not to die from the embarrassment.

I like it. In my opinion, it mustn't necessarily be supernatural, just a fair bit surreal and absurd, maybe with a pinch of black comedy here and there.

yeah that's a good idea, but I also think making it explicitly supernatural would ruin it, but maybe they invent a story and a reason for the town being cursed, that they end up believing despite it's absurdity?

If you haven't already seen it, I'd suggest watching Wake in Fright. It's a 1971 Australian film about a man who gets stranded in a shitty mining town with no money. You might find some inspiration from it, it's quite a good film.

You should foreshadow the romance with a scene where the scientist notices that the chimp is hungry so he pulls out his spare pocket banana and slips it through the bars and the chimp receives it longingly with both hands and they touch fingers a bit in the exchange and avert their eyes but the kindling is lit for the pure butane that is the lipstick

People who write about the human condition often forget that shitting is more universal than sex. I want to write a short story about a guy who has a wet fart and the problem he faces while trying to get home to change his underwear.
