I mean It's a de Chirico painting so his novel Hebdomeros is pretty much exact lol. Plus if you buy the book he gives some insight to his metaphysical art and there are even some bonuses (Monsieur Dudron's Adventures, The Engineers Son, some poetry in the Paul Eluard manuscript, The Survivor of Navarino, 2 fragments relating to Monsieur Dudron's Adventures etc.)
My painting
Meant to tag , that painting is by Albrecht Dürer, not me.

Can’t think of anything. Reminds me of those Calvino covers, but I’ve only read Invisible Cities.

This is my favorite painting ever but I'm not sure.
Maybe Paul Auster's The New York Trilogy, or John Dos Passos' The 42nd Parallel (also part of a trilogy but I haven't read the others yet). New York fits the loneliness and stark geometricality better, I think, but I also just fucking love Dos Passos.
Nabokov's Invitation to a Beheading.
East of Eden as the other user said is the best fit, but I also want to say Faulkner, possibly just because that dude looks exactly like Faulkner.
Poetry of William Blake.
Marlowe's Dido, Queen of Carthage.
Any Faust adaptation, probably Goethe's would be closest in tone.
Okay. Doesn’t make sense though
