the one you posted prolly

That's nice to hear user.

infinite jest for me as i grew up in Boston around the time its set, that was a time in my life that ill always cherish, now as i live south west Florida where is always humid more so.

All of New England seems comfy af desu.

I loved that novel, but can't say that I enjoyed all of the short stories. They seemed very hit or miss to me, though I doubt Calvino expected the reader to enjoy every one

Where was this sweet sweet man? I just last month started his stories and have been so comfied by him since.

user I am happy for you.

I enjoyed 'The castle of crossed destinies' tbqh. Really comfy how no one could speak, just tell their stories by laying out tarot cards.

Probably the one in your pic desu

The Don Camillo novels by Giovannino Guareschi.

Epitaph of a small winner/Posthumous memoirs of Bras Cubas by Machado de Assis

The Secret History was top comfy.

does who translated the work matter ?

Un taxi mauve

Close, but it was 'Un rude hiver'.

unironically Kafka's The Burrow

That's not a novel

Either Invisible Cities or Hard boiled wonderland

Have you read After Dark? Comfiest Murakami imo.

Walden

Calvino is comfy in general but Marcovaldo is him at his comfiest

these too

Mason & Dixon is still undefeated for comfy, personal opinion.

Umberto Eco's The Name of the Rose was top comfy.
Sneaking around an old monastery by candlelight, solving riddles using the wisdom of the scholastic philosophers, Brother William's amused fatherly indulgence with Brother Adso's youthful antics...

city by clifford d simack

Reading this right now while I'm travelling Italy. Even stayed in a monestary in garda the past few nights. Very comfy, not enough gay sex though

Pffft. Its not even Calvino's comfiest. The only real and valid answer is of course Don Quixote.

>Marcovaldo

Oh yes. Love the urban sections especially and how the kids make themselves at home.

>The Name of the Rose

Another good one. Any book with a map in it really, but that one's sweet. Love all the sneaking around at night.

I don't like the chapter about sex

After Dark is one of my favourites, but peak comfy is a book about pinball and fucking twins.
