Would he approve of the novel you're writing, Yea Forums?

I always make sure to put at least one chapter about power lines just for him.
Anno reading list when?
Would an Anno reading list still feature cute girls doing cute things in giant space robots?
Some anti-escapist literature Anno-san would approve?
I would say so but let's at least get working on the list and then hammer everything else out later.
I'm also curious about this.
Actually I believe yes, he would. I'm not sure why but with the level of surrealist symbolism I'm on the first non-literary thing that came to my mind was actually Evangelion.
...But I didn't start writing it yet, though. It's still a concept I came up a month ago and I'm at the stage of reading more philosophy on whichI am basing the story in order not to look like a retard.
Cool. I'm anti-technology but power lines are my aesthetic fetish.
He would wonder why I reference a lot of the same things Eva references (Ultraman and Devilman, specifically) as well as a lot of the same things that aired in that era (Sailor Moon, Utena, etc) but never actually referenced Eva itself.
>he’s writing a Yea Forums eva adaptation
No, he would be like pic related.
Just remember that he is also a fan of Tomino as a novelist, too.
And he read women fiction as a hobby when he was an incel.
Odd how he was a fan of Devilman and Tomino but didn't have the balls to give Eva a hopeless ending. I suppose the message wouldn't have meshed as well.
Any good books on Gundam sort of stuff anyone? Curious about nonfiction works as well.
There's several related LNs, I enjoyed reading what had at the time been translated of Twilight Axis; I've also heard good things about Gundam Sentinel. And of course the novelizations of 0079 by Tomino himself, though I've never bothered to search for them online.
Zeonic Scanlations has a lot of stuff for free online but the website is kinda hard to search sometimes.
I couldn't tell you about nonfiction.
Cringe
>And he read women fiction as a hobby when he was an incel.
Elaborate pls.
Goddamit I wish I could find her real life legal equivalent so she could slap me and call me an idiot
I think it'd be nice to find some, hopefully someone has an idea of what to read.
I know there's some transcribed interviews, /m/ might be able to help you out there.
One of my favorite quotes by Tomino had something to do with him talking about how he was aware he had homocidal tendecies and he was able to deal with these feelings through writing. Absolute madman, he is.
I asked them in a Gundam thread but I honestly feel like as far as books and articles go Yea Forums might be the best combination of people to know what to read or where to look.
What's this from?
How come you're so into the idea of some woman slapping you around?
Please use yandex before asking.
I'm projecting all my psychological issues onto my writings sprinkled with some Jung, Freud, and Schopenhauer into it so yeah I think so albeit heavily inspired by Eva .
What? Well what is it from?
yandex says its Anno's film Shiki-Jitsu
In a interview for an American magazine in ~96', he said that he read women fiction for understanding how the female works, saying that is important for him to know them as a creator. I will search for that image in my phone.
Yeah. And he indeed almost killed a person when they showed to him one of the original drawing of Char with his iconic mask.
Shut up you vacant hussy
Is that image that I mention in a anterior post.
He didn't made a hopeless ending for EVA because he didn't planed for being as dark as it is. Actually, he thought EVA as a equivalent to Mazinger Z for the 90s, and he declared that EVA is, indeed, Mazinger-based at heart. But other influences like his state of mind with heavy depression episodes and the political/cultural problems of early to mid 90s Japan influenced too much in the direction and in all of the creative staff of the show, and bringed this wild ride to life.
lmao he sounds exactly like someone who would visit this site
Anno-san is a fan of Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, exactly like myself!
...didn't Mazinger Z literally have a hopeless ending because the sequel was supposed to introduce the next iteration of Mazinger (whose name escapes me)?
Thanks. I'll look up what the Yandex is later.
What good women's fiction should I read to be more like him?
Can I get a link to the interviews?
Where does one go to get more images/sources like this one?
>they can't handle strong women like Asuka and Misato
lol an alcoholic with severe daddy issues who tries to fuck a 14-year-old to make herself feel better and an insane girl with severe mommy issues who abuses the shit out of everyone around her? very strong indeed
jej, triggered reifag
>evangelion
>surrealism
thank you for posting this, I've never actually read any sort of interviews from Anno.
Anno would probably take a great dislike to me and force me to watch the last two episodes of Evangelion à la Clockwork Orange until I got a job or a girlfriend.
But I'd start crying and apologizing and shouting "But I'm a fan! Kare Kano was good!" and he'd say "no it wasn't" and slit my throat.
I won't deny being a reifag, but objectively speaking Asuka and Misato are not "strong women" in any positive sense of that term.
Asuka is best girl.
It's based partially on evangelion so maybe
Strong is not stoic. Everyone deals with their problems in their own way. Just because they develop some weird habits like being aggressive or being unkempt or whatever, doesn't mean you are weak. 'Strong' in itself is just a vague word to begin with.
Tell me more.
Just finished End of Evangelion, want to cry and kiss and dance with joy. I want to live so bad more than I have ever before. God bless you, you Jap autist you.
Any books for this feel
Also, Asuka, Misato and Rei are ALL BEST GIRLS
EVERYONE IS BEST GIRL
EVEN YOU
>most anime makers are basically autistic.
uh yeah I'm thinking he's based
Huh, this guy directed a film based on a story by Ryu Murakami; Love & Pop. Wonder if it's any good. It was made in the post-Eva Anno's-gone-rogue period so it should be interesting at any rate.
He isn't, but I am.
It's a three-part series with a fourth part that is very similar to what 3.0+1.0 seems to be, but I had the idea 2+ years before it was revealed.
I got these browsing /m/.
We really some pretty good stuff about the creators floating around there, and they are specialists in finding media anime/manga-related, too.
You are wellcome~
Just to add more content to the conversation, I'll be leaving a interview that he had with Tomino about V Gundam (and some Japanese politics envolved with the consume of the medium) in Animage below:
