That sounds pretty based to me

Are you trying to get us to like Jews

HAHAHA DUDE TEXTS TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT I'VE TOTALLY RUINED AN ENTIRE RELIGION AND PHILOSOPHY WITHOUT EVER HAVING LOOKED FURTHER DEEPLY THAN A SHALLOW MISUNDERSTANDING WTF IM SO SMART HAHAHAHA

t. christcuck mad because Jesus commanded genocide and permitted people to sell their own daughters into slavery, among other atrocities

That's not taken out of context. I'm Jewish, so I can confirm I have heard this cited by Rabbis. We are supposed to get absolutely shitfaced on Purim.

not an atheist

Quick google search answers your own stupidity, you nominal Jew. Same with op

So what?

What are you talking about?

OP isn't Christian scripture, retard

I feel like there's a decently large Jewish presence on this board. Not in the "HURR DURR MOSSAD AGENT" way but a surprising amount of adherents.

Jews seem to be over represented in pretty much everything. I suspect that the majority of the world's population is somehow Jewish.

That's Rabbinical commentary, not scripture. Any Jew can disagree and offer a rebuttle. It'd probably get shot down because of the iron-clad galaxy-brained autism of the Rabbis, but still.

>tfw newfags will never experience arguing with the actual JIDF
It's an abstract kind of feel.

What's your point?

You're a stupid bastard

From what I've heard, Jews consider the Talmud (oral Torah) as just as important as the written Torah. I've heard the analogy of the Five Books of Moses being like lecture notes, while in the Talmud you get the full lecture.

>How old are you?
>anywhere from 14 to 40

Is orthodox judaism autism in religious form?

actually kike here. only the orthodox jews take the talmud seriously. the average jew doesn't know shit about the talmud. most know about not using electricity on shabbat and not mixing dairy and meat products.

Are you a karaite, or reform/conservative? or just a secular jew?

Isn’t the whole point of a religion about taking it seriously?

No, it's about moral foundation for one's community. Most people won't follow the rules, but they will be judged by the rules.

Brainlet. If you're a true practicing person of a religion, you would to follow all their rules. You don't get to just cherry pick your favorite pithy statements.

Inextricably based.

Super based fellow brother. I, too, take sensationalist fabrications into account in judging an entire religion. I also take lines out of context without really looking into them deeper because that would take work, and me? Well I'm just here to spread real information.

Orthodox Judaism really took a fatal blow back in the 1800s up to WW2. It's ironic, in a /pol/ sort of way, that modernity is breeding and culturally tearing the Jew down more than any other group. They're mixed, they've forgetting their own cultural traits, and they're even converting to Christianity in a significant fashion (though such isn't a direct result of modernism).
Wittgenstein's family was originally Jewish, but converted to Protestantism. Otto Weininger (author of Sex and Character) converted to Protestantism. Even a whole new modern sect emerged, Messianic Judaism.
Even in Israel, liberal outbursts of Anti-Zionism and secularism are making moves. I've heard Israelis rail against Hasidic Jews and other ultra-Orthodox types, I think for their resiliance towards conscription.
Actual devout Jews have little in common with most Jews, and more in common with conservative Christians and Muslims in family lifestyle.

Some of these books listed don't exist, and some of the lines are taken out of context since most people don't know that the Talmud is a dialogue, a very long and autistic dialogue whose segments should be read in full for clarity. Even then, some of them like Hikkoth Akum X1 actually do say a jew shouldn't lower a goyim into a pit, NOR PULL HIM OUT OF A PIT. It doesn't take long after reading a few of these to find out which ones are true to realize jews are megalomaniacs with zero self-awareness.

I'm not Jewish and I know this, my good man. White supremacists and generally ignorant bigots are big fans of taking religious texts out of context. These texts, just like Islamic texts and even Christian texts should be scrutinized with extreme caution and judicious assessment.

yeah, they're totally misrepresenting those lines in the Talmud about Jesus being burned in a cauldron of boiling shit and semen in hell, those bigots!

That is one ugly kid.
Why do fedoras think no one bothered to ask 'if God is good then why do bad things happen' until 2011?

>These texts, just like Islamic texts and even Christian texts should be scrutinized with extreme caution and judicious assessment.
At least Christianity teaches you to love your enemy, and Christianity and Islam allow conversion into their faiths and once you do convert, you equals with them. But the only way for a gentile to be held in a high regard (but not equal) is to live by the seven mitzvot, and yes, studying the Torah is forbidden to them.

Yes, continue to spread misinformation on an incredibly disputed and difficult to understand passage.
That's because the torah is for Jews ... For example, if you're not Jewish, you don't have to get circumcised or follow the 613 commands. A gentile can convert to Judaism with extensive study and time. A gentile can also be loved by God if he still follows the 7 gentile laws

t. not even Jewish

?

that sounds ok. i like a religion that likes a few drinks. if those weird muslims had a few beers now and again maybe they wouldn't be quite so rapey and bomby

that's a trilby
