There is even something somewhat beautiful in this. Cioran always wrote about the voluntary rejection and the futility of self-development, fame, progress, etc. and here's a janitor reading it. Tbh at some point I found that reading Cioran works as a sort of a meditation from despair, maybe the janitor also did, idk
