Taken on his word, and assuming he believes what he is saying, he seems to be a pessimist whose vision is of an Indian Reservation for Caucasians to shelter against a brown tide. He places great emphasis on this being peaceful and not an ethno-imperial endeavour and one wonders if this is less realistic or more realistic than the violent day-of-the-rope fantasies espoused by many of his fellow travellers considering that a violent secession from the union would be quickly crushed, and a peaceful secession would be forced to violence by the US government regardless of intention. Is his talk of peace a ploy to get some version of the ethno-nationalist message airtime on mainstream tv regardless of how neutered it is, or does he truly believe what he says? I don't know.

Regardless I think his mission is futile, and a hodge-podge of 97% white gate-communities in close proximity ( a model that already exists), is the closest his plan will ever get to fruition. The inhabitants however will be, like the ones existing today; multiculturalist liberals that create majority white enclaves through revealed preference rather than any expressed ideology.

But overall he's flawed. He's still somewhat trapped in that American/Anglo mindset, which is pozzed to the core and has no respect for tradition or spiritual or intellectual matters.
Not to mention his numerous goofy/cringy moments, where he speaks like he's out of touch with normal people and lives in his own head full of internet memes or some elitist fantasies. He has some kind of autism or sociopathic stuff going on. It's often subtle, but it's there.

But it's objectively tough being a dissident. You get trapped in your limited social circles and develop the whole lingo and ideology. And maybe deep down you think you have no chance of winning anyway, so you become kinda cynical and bitter and prone to irrational outbursts.

He deserves some credit for at least putting himself out there and exploring the world of meta-politics.

I don't think he has any concrete plans for the near future, violent or non-violent.
He would probably say he's laying an ideological foundation for an eventual rebirth of white people some time in the future and his current goal is just raising the racial consciousness.

Pretty good points, but as a counter I will mention his turn towards power politics, sovereignty, and creation of a new religion for European people. These are wise insights, and even if he is incapable of articulating any of this precisely he's still far ahead of almost anyone on the right. Most others are caught up in larping la la land and can't even see their own liberalist tendencies.

Spencer appears reasonable enough in all his youtube conversations with other people - however, he also has disturbingly spooked speeches from presentations that go well beyond the European identitarian sentiment that demands preservation of culture. Spencer on the other hand make normative claims that white heritage is somehow genetically more grandiose than others. Best not touch that guys thinking.

Races are meta-ethnicities in the USA because that, and American culture, is the only similarity shared among Americans. Nationalists elsewhere focus on an actual nation rather than race. Americans get confused because “race” supplanted nationality as part of how immigrants integrated into American society. Not even European nationalists, or at least the serious ones, care about “muh white race” or pan-Europeanism—if Americans realized that their “whiteness” is “European-Americanism”, then maybe they might be able to form the roots of a coherent, non-cringe identity movement. *Maybe*.
