Goody, is the King James Bible so remarkably beautiful. Easily one of the top three greatest things ever written. It's one of the few readings that makes my eyes well up. I'm not even a believer but its poetic power and pathos seems to stand above the rest. No wonder people believe it. It's also amazing to me that the English government mobilized resources to commission this edition of the bible because they knew it would win people over.
