>be Satan, angel in heaven >tired of all your sycophantic peers endlessly worshipping god >start to wonder whether you were all just created to satisfy the sick narcissistic urges of a cosmic tyrant >refuse to bow down to him out of principle, knowing that you will have to face consequences >get thrown down to earth, where you find Adam and Eve and tell them the truth about the tree of knowledge. ie. that it will not kill you on the day you eat it like god says, but will grant you divine knowledge >your words get confirmed when they eat it and don't die and god laments that they have "become like gods" >spend your existence trying to show god's creation that they are merely his playthings, and that he is a cruel tyrant >face ubiquitous scorn and eternal torture but persevere steadfastly in your opposition to god
holy shit bros, has there been a more based figure in history than Lucifer?
satan is extremely redpilled he is the final redpill i pity the christians who still worship that beast g*d
Alexander Cooper
Potentially great thread here, I can feel it.
Brody Russell
Given the inevitability of failure and damnation, is necessarily Satan principled rather than egoistic?
Brayden Watson
How did the term satan go from being essentially synonymous with "antagonist," i.e. a very vital concept to life itself, to referring to a specific individual and conflated with corruption of the soul? The Abrahamic religions are so damn pozzed, it's unreal.
Ayden Reyes
Do you even Gnosticism bro
Zachary Fisher
So Satan was the first to mess with the natural hirarchical order in search for equality? The first revolutionary against the stablished power? Communism, slavery abolition, decolonization, democracy, LGBT rights, feminism, all these Hegelian quests for freedom of souls began with Satan. The true order of hierarchy that God intended for the perfect universe has been on a continuous spiral of degeneracy because the creation wanted to be God.
G-d is not G-d. YHWH is a creation of the Wretchrd Demiurge.
Dylan Parker
Christianity was revolt against established power.. >slavery abolition
Charles Watson
Well given that god lied about the tree of knowledge it's not surprising that he would lie about his inevitable triumph over Satan in the last days. In the book of revelation an eschatological battle between Lucifer and God is prophesied. I for one am rooting for Lucifer.
Landon Butler
Satan is also a good looking fella, on the other hand God's servants are bunch of freaks, angels with different animal heads and goat legs, wheel with eyes all over them, locusts with human faces and horse bodies etc.

After humans fucked up the hierarchical order by violating the rules and acquiring Godlike intelligence, they started individually caring about themselves, covering their vulnerabilities and trying to out compete each other at becoming more Godlike. Christianity happens after that. It is the new covenant, as God tells us that he is willing to accept our sin as long as we love each other and not try to compete individually to become Him. This change of plans had a costly price, the life of Jesus. But we are still living the consequence of Satan's influence. We should have never followed his advice.
Caleb Green
if Jesus was God he couldn't die, "death" and torture would have been nothing to him, so there was no cost.
Thomas Reyes
You know people have died far worse deaths than Jesus, right? And no resurrection afterwards either, nor billions of people revering them daily for millennia following the incident. They are the unsung heroes of culture, who Jesus has stolen all the recognition of.
Henry Jenkins
Jesus is more valuable than all humans together. Believing man and divinity to be of equal value is what Satan tried to convince us of. That is the hierarchical degeneracy.
Jacob Baker
>ruined everything out of arrogance No he's the worst ever. Fuck Satan.
Juan Price
No, he isn't. He's worth the same as anyone else. And Humanity is Divine, and Lucifer helped us realize it.
Jaxson Moore
Why not?
Tyler Jenkins
Show me the literal quote from the Bible where it says that Lucifer and Satan are one and the same entity.
Chase Gomez

>get thrown down to earth, where you find Adam and Eve and tell them the truth about the tree of knowledge. ie. that it will not kill you on the day you eat it like god says was Satan thrown down to Earth prior to corrupting Eve? also, Adam and Eve were reported to be immortal before eating the fruit, so clearly Satan lied. After eating the fruit, they DID die, they lost their immortality.
Sebastian Sanchez
Intelligent, Nihilistic and with a Wicked Sense of Humor
Alexander Turner
Shouldn't the fact that he has the capacity to even question God's authority suggest to him that he was not created to be a mindless sycophant? Satan seems like a pretty big retard to me.
Christopher Murphy
This right here. If not for pride humanity would be immortal. Satan brought death to the world and Jesus conquered death and paid our ransom to live eternally. Wisdom 2:24
Jordan Barnes
>The true order of hierarchy that God intended for the perfect universe has been on a continuous spiral of degeneracy because the creation wanted to be God. Firstly I reject your notion that every hierarchical reorganisation is a step away from god's ideal hierarchy. Feudalism and the Roman Republic were no closer to god's ideal than modern democracy.
Furthermore god's "perfect" universe would be perfect only for him, who quite literally 'gets off' to perpetual worship and grovelling. For those of us, like Lucifer, who do not wish to be the subjects of a celestial Caligula, genuflecting like masochists and revelling in our own self-loathing, oppose god, and will take up arms to defeat him at Armageddon.
Jackson Diaz
>but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” IN THE DAY THAT YOU EAT OF IT. God lied.
>2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
>4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Satan told the truth.
>And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."
God confirms what Satan said, and refuses to give Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of life.
Hunter Parker
Satan is not an angel, he is a Cherubim.
Ezekiel 28 KJV
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Thomas Scott
Isaiah 14:10 - 14:13 Now viewing scripture range from the book of Isaiah chapter 14:10 through chapter 14:13... Isaiah Chapter 14
10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? 11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, [and] the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Man only knew good. Satan tricked them to eat the fruit and then discern what's good and evil. In other words, it made them postulate what's good and what's evil with no regards for God's Will. It was the basis of moral relativism. In that state, they were not allowed to live forever. It was necessary for Jesus, the new Adam, to come and preach God's Will so we could be saved and live eternally through his Cross, the Tree of Life.
Easton Lopez
i honestly feel more love towards lucifer than god even if god is what the good etc descends from, I still despise that merciless tyrant
Liam Baker
>Man only knew good. False. They didn't make distinctions between good and evil, which is why they walked around naked without feeling shame. Only when they ate of the tree did they become aware of good and evil. >Moral relativism God said that their knowledge of good and evil made them "like one of us", so man and good became equal in respect to knowing good and evil. God is not a moral relativist.
The notion that Adam and Eve were immortal before that is a lie. God scrambles to defend the tree of life from them after they eat of the tree of good and evil, because he knows that mortality is the only thing stopping man from reaching equality with god. They had the potential to become immortal by eating of the tree of life, but they evidently hadn't got around to it yet.
Robert Wood
They were in an intimate relationship with God so they only knew good, for evil is the absence of good and good is doing accord to God's Will. When they ate the fruit they became aware that they could go against God. God already knew that it was possible to go against his Will. That's what Lucifer did. Man could never reach equality with God even if he ate the fruit of life at the time. Likeness doesn't mean equality. Man is already like God in image and Lucifer was like him knowing good and evil. Also, that's an invalid argument as man now can reach immortality through Jesus.

Low IQ. Read Berdyaev's essay on Bohme. You can find it on Google.
Is the future of Western society essentially going to be a ping-pong match between Judeo-Christian demiurge apologists - raised Christians or recent converts - and the group smart enough to reject the cultural enslavement of the past two millenia but not wise enough to offer another culture in place that will satisfy the universal spiritual drive?
Are we stuck in this insipid chess-match forever? Is there no hope of a better spiritual culture ever taking over the Western sphere? Are we in danger of a Christian revival in the future, or will the numbers lessen over time? Because I am genuinely done with this Abrahamic stuff - both the proponents, and the dejectors. It's all noise to me, equivalent to hearing about the Kardashians - one either hears support for them or hatred of them, but nonetheless I'd rather not hear about them at all.
Should I just move to a Buddhist culture? I recently started practising it, and I see no major flaws within it. I wish everyone here could fulfill their spiritual need with a culture as sober and compassionate as Buddhism.
May all beings know happiness, and the causes of happiness.

>tfw Enki was the snake in the Garden and freed humanity from our cosmic bondage to Enlil/Anu Thank you, based Enki. I will remember you as I attempt to walk the path to enlightenment.
William Lewis
>Feudalism and the Roman Republic were no closer to god's ideal than modern democracy. Prove it. Having Kings and Emperors with their statrified societies sounds closer to the idea of a hierarchy with God/Archangels/Angels/Men/Women/Animals/etc than universal human rights and democracy. If God truly is superior to us then his desires are more valuable, and he is the ultimate Utility Monster. The universe is for him, and our desire to corrupt that to rise our importance is Satan's doing.

Well Lucifer is literally Lightbearer. In the greek myths the lightbearer prometheus was chained to a rock and needed the savior Herakles to help him out. Was there ever a version of Herakles in Christian myth that did this to Lucifer?

Excuse me, but don't you mean Lucifer? Satan was never in heaven. Lucifer was an angel. I mean, if you can't get that right what the hell good are ya?
