Well for the instance, for the past year or so I've been cozying up to far rightists on twitter via method acting even though I'm a liberal at heart. It's taught me a lot about far right thought processes, I think. This is a practical example of Belief as a Technique. Oh yes, quite substantially. But the biggest fuel for my writing is my schizoaffective delusions, which I try to systematize and rationalize in order to better compartmentalize. The more I can think "reasonably" about my delusions, the more I can think reasonably in general, imho. So my writing is actually almost a sort of effluent output from my weird nontraditional attempts to stay sane.

The major thing I am trying to work on besides Protocols of the Dragonsphere and the Liber series is Edgelord Wizards of Vector Time: Pt 3, but I think I may drop that project to focus on a novelization of the Liber series or something since it is unlikely to get made as a game or graphic novel since I can't find anyone to collaborate with. I guess I could MS paint an entire graphic novel. Maybe I will do that instead. Really not sure.

Where to start with chaos magic?

The traditional place has been Phil Hine and Peter J Caroll, but while they're still interesting, chaos magick is basically just Americanized, largely libertarian-flavored existentialism. If you have a grasp on the currents you don't really need the books. The main taglines of chaos magick are "Nothing is true, everything is permitted" and "Belief is a technique". The former used to be the highest level of initiatic knowledge in the old days, so naturally the tradition of chaos magick begins by giving it to everyone.

They speak English. I toyed with the idea of having them speak various other languages on occasion as the plot might require: Enochian patched with Hebrew, or Akkadian, or even French. But I don't speak any other languages, so I decided against it.
