The person who turned off the tv.
That show is a platform for "agents" to promote their "celebrity" clients on "press junkets" so that the public remains under the constant illusion that "celebrities" all hang out with eachother and have fun exciting beautiful people conversations with one another and they don't simply do "press junkets" whenever they need to push some shit vehicle they only did for money (movie, show, etc., often simply things they're "affiliated" with as a "brand," like George Clooney will "endorse" some kind of shit product like a vodka, while doing none of the work but still feeling he is part of the "creative process," even though he doesn't even manage the "celebrity" aspects of it since his "agents" do that). Platforms like Conan's faciliate this process by constantly "networking" with agents and "talent people" (responsible for knowing and schmoozing with all the "agents") so that at any given moment they have a roiling, brimming list of hacks and washed-up faggots who want to promote some vodka or some payola shit thing they did because they're in debt from drugs.
These people are the lowest most worthless fucking scum of the universe and they have replaced your country's real culture with a stage platform, which they alone are allowed to occupy, and onto which they trot so they can sell you the lowest effort fucking garbage your melted brain is barely willing to buy, because it's been trained since birth to associate the aura of "celebrities" with culture as such. When you look at Conan and this other broad having a conversation you are really seeing a massive nettle of Jewish tendrils interweaving with one another to form a matrix and permanently enclose your soul. All of these people are maximally cynical, maximally underhanded, they are all drug pushers trying to keep you hooked on their filth. If you allow yourself to watch one second of this bullshit, if you allow yourself to look at that woman or at Conan's practiced phony friendship with her for even one moment and not feel disgust and anger, you are a useful idiot for the machine.
Based dub dubs of truth and redpills
tl;dr, but what i skimmed was based and redpilled
i couldn't get through it but isn't it all stuff everyone already knows though i.e. TOO OBVIOUS AND ELEMENTARY TO BE WORTH SAYING AT ALL
>When you look at Conan and this other broad having a conversation you are really seeing a massive nettle of Jewish tendrils interweaving with one another to form a matrix and permanently enclose your soul
very based. exceedingly redpilled.
Absolute truth and can confirm by my two interactions with television people that they dumb stuff down by default and think everything should be dumbed down for people to understand. Media people despise normal people to an extent I have never met even in the most cynical non-media related rich or poor people I know. They have the psychological profiling of people who would run over a child with a car, not stop and complain that the child was in the fucking way. They hate each and every single one of other human beings and think they are stupid pieces of shit who deserve to be spoonfed garbage, and the only reason they can keep doing this on a daily basis is that they hate you and believe a life of lobotomization in front of their stupid shows is worse than death.
clearly never seen norm on conan.
Historyfag here
No, actually, our culture has always been like this. It's just that nobody remembers them. Even perhaps the most famous music hall performer of all time, Grimaldi, is basically unknown nowadays. So maybe it'll make you happy to know these people you hate will be quickly forgotten.
>So maybe it'll make you happy to know these people you hate will be quickly forgotten.
well being remembered isn't so great
robert graves wrote about it:
And the punishment is fixed:
To be found fully ancestral,
To be cast in bronze for a city square,
To dribble green in times of rain
And stain the pedestal.
damn I want to suck those milky tits so bad
Everyone watching. Not a single one of these late night TV shows has ever been remotely entertaining.
this is your mind on /pol/

>No, actually, our culture has always been like this.
No it was not you fucking redditor. Comparing old masters and artist with modern hollywood scum is disgusting. We remember the old masters very well.
Also what the fuck "historyfag" means? I search /his/ constantly and is a shithole full of /int/ards.
This based retard actually thinks music hall nigs were old masters and artists
look up mary frith, a seventeenth century celebrity who was p much famous for being famous
it's not all shakespeare and dante you twit
Shakespeare was much more famous than that nobody you just mentioned. Both in life and after his death.
Redd*ttor.
Shakespeare was pretty famous but he wasn't insanely famous.
>reddit spacing
shiggy diggy (that's a corruption of "ISHYGDDT", which itself stands for "I seriously hope you guys don't do this").
>look up mary frith
>Mary’s uncle, who was a minister and her father’s brother, once attempted to reform her at a young age by sending her to New England. However, she jumped overboard before the ship set sail, and refused to go near her uncle again.
>Mary presented herself in public in a doublet and baggy breeches, smoking a pipe and swearing if she wished.
>She was recorded as having been burned on her hand four times, a common punishment for thieves.
>In 1611 Frith even performed (in men's clothing, as always) at the Fortune Theatre. On stage she bantered with the audience and sang songs while playing the lute.
>Once a showman named William Banks bet Mary 20 pounds that she wouldn’t ride from Charing Cross to Shoreditch dressed as a man. Not only did she win the bet, she rode flaunting a banner and blowing a trumpet as well. She also rode Marocco, a famous performing horse.
>On 9 February 1612 Mary was required to do a penance for her "evil living" at St. Paul's Cross. She put on a performance then, according to a letter by John Chamberland to Dudley Carlton. In his letter, Chamberland observes, "She wept bitterly and seemed very penitent, but it is since doubted she was maudlin drunk, being discovered to have tippled of three-quarters of sack".
>She married Lewknor Markham (possibly the son of playwright Gervase Markham) on 23 March 1614. It has been alleged that the marriage was little more than a clever charade. Evidence shows that the whole thing was contracted to give Frith a counter when suits against her referred to her as a "spinster".
>It turned out that society had some reason for its disapproval; by the 1620s she was, according to her own account, working as a fence and a pimp. She not only procured young women for men, but also respectable male lovers for middle-class wives.
absolute legend
>because it's been trained since birth to associate the aura of "celebrities" with culture as such.
No one does this, they just associate celebrities with mindless hedonism
tard/10
>writing this much and being wrong
cringe and schizopilled
He was more famous than a literal nobody you found searching Wikipedia. Period. Go back to your shithole.
>it's not all shakespeare and dante you twit
actually even Shakespeare was famous for the wrong reasons. He purposely put trash into his plays so that his audience could enjoy it.
>Her eyes were water spouts
It is of vital importance you admit you were wrong. Firstly, your entire worldview is founded on a conservative past-worship which is incompatible with the truth, which reveals humans have acted human for a hundred thousand years. Secondly, I am almost at an unbroken streak of one hundred internet arguments won, and I would be very upset to lose it.
That's a myth, damnit, he was popular but he was also consciously high-brow (perhaps to the point of trying too hard -- he was mocked by richfags for being a commoner trying to stray into philosophy).
>That's a myth, damnit, he was popular but he was also consciously high-brow (perhaps to the point of trying too hard
This is meaningless. He mixed his genius poetics with trash meant for a rabble. There is no other way to explain some of the garbage in his plays that is perfectly inline with the taste of those days.
these media people sound pretty b&r desu
ITT: People who believe tv is not scripted.
Some of his plays were phoned in for commissions, but the plays he put effort into aren't mixed in with trash. They absolutely follow trends (e.g. the trend from comedy into serious tragedies in line with James' court tastes) but that doesn't make it not high-brow.
please explain to the folks at home who Norm is
>but the plays he put effort into aren't mixed in with trash.
Yes they are lad. Most of his plays don't even have good plots. Shakespeare is ninety percent poetics.
I will never understand subhumans like you who hate culture and virtue. Why you want to rewrite history so it's feets your narrative that culture was always trash just like today? If you like trash, just say it, subhuman.
>Most of his plays don't even have good plots
big thonk
>George Clooney will "endorse" some kind of shit product like a vodka, while doing none of the work but still feeling he is part of the "creative process," even though he doesn't even manage the "celebrity" aspects of it since his "agents" do that).
Hey don't shit on Clooney, he whores himself to advertisers in Asia so he can fund movies his agents wouldn't be able to get made.
looks like someone is jealous of a wee little irish boy who went to harvard, wrote a thesis on oconnor and faulkner, then left with a decent six pack and no student debt
It's true. You think the comedies have great plots?
big deal orson welles did that his whole life and he still couldn't get his films finished
& you can be sure they'd be a lot better than confessions of a dangerous mind
No, not really.
fpbp
I despise normal people more than they do, and I'm sure many other people on Yea Forums also do.
Actual linguist here.
Conan was in the right. Garner was being a prescriptivist bitch.
>linguist
opinion disregarded
You almost were going to make a good poin but then the echoesposting came, like it always does.
No such thing. There are always dumbasses who don't know or dumbasses who are in the process of forgetting. Skip it if you will, but there's no good reason to shit on it.
if you keep seeing people making good points but then you discard their posts because they echopost, it may be time for you to do a big think
>Bourgeois society continuously brings forth the Jew from its own entrails.

What to Know
The original past tense of sneak was sneaked, following the pattern of other regular verbs. However, in the 19th century snuck started appearing, and is now the more common version for the past tense of "sneak." Most irregular verbs become regular over time, but sneak has become irregular, and no other words like sneak (peek, creak, etc.) follows a similar pattern.
