Works with a minimal focus on humans would be ideal. I will have a look at yours though.

You want Redwall books

Thanks for reminding me of Wilson. Been meaning to read Half-Earth since it came out

This sounds nice and dry:

Is there any way to reconcile eco viewpoints with liberal capitalism or am I forced to accept ecofascism? Individualism is the only thing that has moved humanity forward but it has destroyed nature for the most part. Now don't get me wrong in the long run there is a big possibility that capitalism solves the ecological problem but we may reach the point of no return before that, so, what books can I read on this issue?

there is no political solution. neither capitalism nor your meme brenton tarrant ideology can save nature. in fact, once nature has been destroyed it can never truly be restored. politics itself is against nature, it being large groups of people trying to change the world. the world was fine as it was. fuck science and fuck politics. read typee.

I think we will have to experiment a great deal and find out. We have to rebuild everything anew anyways.

It's literally too late for nature.

Not everywhere, but yeah, mostly

Walden

I will read this.

Nature will always win eventually

My nibba

Silly. Any piece of literature is made by humans. Therefore, every piece of litrature is focused on humans, even if humanity isn't its main focus regarding topic.

YOU DARE DEFY GNON, HUMAN?

Those Of The Forest by Wallace Grange

It’s an ecological novel

>Those Of The Forest by Wallace Grange
This is exactly what I was looking for. Getting a hold of a copy looks like it'll be somewhat difficult though. Would you happen to know of anything similar?

Up.

Any good books about living with failure? I don't mean 'dust your self off and get back on your horse' failure, I mean once in a life time failure, a failure that never offers a second chance to fix.

What kind of failure is that? Most things can be fixed or you could get over them.

Also read Mein Kampf OP it's good.

There's a neato book on evolutionary psychological readings of famous works of literature that I'd recommend. Can't remember the name, but it was nature asf. Darwin's journals are also neato.
Any pessimism book. But my personal fav is Zappfe, because I like to pretend his name is what occurs when the moth gets what's coming to'm. Zap-fizzle. Haha.
Same could be said of aloneness. That we can't write, use words, ect because language is inherently social. Which I agree with. Music is the only expression for despair. All your anguish here is false and merely validation seeking or a willing towards ignorance.

There is no difference between nature and the man-made world.

Take the Wordsworthpill.

Unfortunately no but I’m sure they have TotF on Amazon. I got interested in it mainly because the idea of having wild animals as characters in a plot is kind of based.

Like not getting into Yale failure
TL;DR 4.0 GPA, community service, ect... Folks made me apply to Yale as my only school Come 18th birthday, Yale drops letter saying I did not make it in, parents are in the middle of evicting me and I just took a job with a gas station. So it's either learning to accept this failure for the rest of my life or suicide.

I'll try get my hands on it somehow.

t. clueless preening pseudo-bougie 1st gen chinaman transplant med school wannabe

baaabaaaa chink baby so velly sad he not get make big money like mommydaddy wanna

now you're like everyone else. you always were, but now you get the realization implanted into your thick pampered skull. welcome to all of us. if you feel the inclination to suicide, DO IT.

also, are you actually so fucking retarded you haven't realized you can reapply next year and get into pretty much any school save for ivies and potted? have some soppy fucking essay about adjusting your expectations following humbling circumstances and the cum will be gushing from all the 2nd tier schools in the u s of a. hell, you might even get into yale, not that i would ever want to offer you that hope. here i was thinking you'd reveal to us you got caught with CP or killed someone DUIing, but no, you didn't get your top preference and now might have to settle for second best, which is still better than 99.9% of everyone else. and if your parents cut you off, good, they sound abusive.

This isen't just about fucking Yale, though that stung, my parents won't even talk to me anymore. Because I failed. Once.

now to be nicer: this isn't an issue of your "failure." the deeper issue is you realizing that your parents' love of you was provisional upon demanded successes that they had no business forcing on you. had it not been your rejection from yale, your parents would have found any other future setback to renege their "love," whether it be rejection from med school, not marrying a rich enough woman, having to work at the 6th best hospital in the country rather than Mayo or whatever they imagined, etc etc etc. and even had you achieved all these things, you very likely would have found yourself miserable and questioning your identity anyway. TRUST ME--it's better that this is happening to you at 18 rather than 45 after you've quit your highstress job because you can't physically do it anymore and now you have to worry about supporting a family of your own while your parents do the same shit they're doing now. they'll be around for a couple more decades most likely; maybe they'll come around, and if they don't they are actual SCUM.

This book is excellent.
