You dont have to parade your sexuality around, but you should try telling one of your close relatives, whoevee that may be. If they would hate you for being what you are (and in a sense, what they made/created) then really, the love you are getting from your family isnt worth it.
The girl I love, has a muslim background, her father was an asshole and her mother raised her alone, now her mother is alone and will stay so forever and family is especially important to her for that reason. If she would openly date me(a nominal christian and also not a turkish man) it would be very hard for her mom, because every "failure" is handed to the parents of the failure. So what I will eventually have to do, is become a muslim (of course its just for show) because I could never make her miserable and cut her off from her mother and in turn cut her mother off from the rest of her family.

Regardless, that entire story was just me telling you that as long as your family is the only problem, and its just your immediate family, just tell them, they will accept it or they wont, either way, you will not really "hurt" them. Maybe tell your brother, sister, or mom...I assume your dad is the reason your fsmily is conservative, being that he is the "patriarch" and decides on the politics in "his house".

In the end, you gotta choose one way or the other, hiding will crush you, being open might worsen the bond to your dad or family, but just see it like this: you never asked to be born, but now that youre here, you gotta manage go lead a good life somehow.
