I bet BELL HOOKS smells like necrotizing flesh and cat piss.
Her works sound interesting I'll give her a look into. No love for Silvina Ocampo? I'm currently going through her short story collection at the moment and I'm really enjoying a lot of the Gothic elements.
Reminder that Bronte was, is, and always will be our girl.
KAschnitz. I love Eisbären.
I'd just like to say that Yea Forums has turned me on to many books I might never have discovered otherwise and which have gone down as some that I've enjoyed very much, among them The Recognitions, The Elementary Particles, God Without Youth and Stoner; and I'm writing down a lot of the names in this thread because they're foreign to me and after a few brief samples of their work courtesy Amazon's preview shit appear to be very good indeed. I look forward to reading their work very much.
Thanks, Yea Forums.
I fucking love Muller. She reminds me of Buchner and Michaux and Pinget. I think my favorite Muller is still "Man is nothing but a pheasant in the world".
Best canadian poet will always be Gaston Miron but Carson is alright. College writing for sure.
then maybe you need to read a little more
I’ve been boycotting non male writers ever since the ‘no boys allowed’ showings of Wonder Woman.
Culture war retardation
Iris Murdoch is tight.
Very funny, too. I'd rather not have to explain this crush I have on her, though.
>you will never go to San Francisco with Joan Didion in the '60s and gawk at all the counterculture freaks
based. Autobiography of Red is one of the books I have enjoyed reading most this year

Don't particularly care for any "philosophical" female author.
George Eliot (Mill on the Floss is a good starting point)
Donna Tartt (The Secret History)
ey yo fuck female writers they haven't written shit. Brandon Jones' magnum opus of the Diamond League cycle is the only good literature since the Sumerians!
