color me impressed
cuz the alternative is to divulge myself into shitty dopamine circled media like video games or social media.
Why would you read a book like that when you can simply read the works written by those people?
Sadly just to connect with my Father
To learn about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I don't read to think, I read so I no longer think.
It's the only way I can jerk off anymore.
I read the King James Bible to know that at least God loves me, and not everyone hates me.
I say what I say not because it's what I think, but because it's what I no longer think.
I dont hate you user :)
To flex in front of the normalfags. Feels good to know that so far I've read 2 books and 1 manifesto more than most normalfags have read since high school
better than being a gamer
I feel retarded if I don't read.
Just to suffer
because i enjoy it
To enjoy myself. I love to learn. I love beauty.
You don’t so much read as receive instructions on how to avoid learning
This bitch is dumb as rocks have you ever heard her speak?
Why is she taking photos with books like anyone would believe she had the IQ to read it?
Fuck off attention whore
Mainly to educate and prepare myself for getting involved in the political sphere when I hit 30 in a few years.
I dont expect to succeed anyway, but I made a promise to myself that I will wait for my ideas to fully mature before trying to peach them. Need to practice what I preach first.
Take Confrontational Politics by HL Richardson for a spin. It is a quick and easy but very enlightening read.
thanks user ill check it out
I don't read literature, just textbooks. most books are mighty dull and written poorly.
I doubt anyone can red pill me on it.
...
being unable to see the value of fiction is a strong sign of autism
im not joking
oh. that is weird, I don't feel autistic.
i'm a math major, have no social skill, never had a girlfriend in my life, khv, refuse to make eye contact but don't know where to look when talking so I don't talk. im also a frog poster. I also don't understand morality, shower every other day, wear a the same hoodie until it falls apart, read math textbooks for fun, and stare at people while they are not paying attention and attempt to deduce things about them based on how they look.
what is the diagnosis doc? I thought this was normal 4chanian behavior?????
Becauae I have little better to do
what does the N stand for?
For fun and to learn about things that interest me (which is also fun)
hey I know that girl
I always felt humiliated when people put on airs of intelligence around me so I wanted to humiliate them
sometimes for fun
Valid
To escape.
Everything I read— novels, history, philosophy, whatever, is really just a way to escape real life, because real life is for the most part a giant pain in the ass. But books take me to new and better worlds of imagination and ideas. And I can do it lying in bed which is a plus.
It’s really all about laziness. When I was a younger man, I really identified with Tennyson’s Ulysses. I was ambitious and wanted to achieve. Now, at 35, I am 100% lotos eater: “There is no joy but calm.”
reading novels can help you becoming a real child, Pinocchio. It helps you developing empathy for other humans.
Nudes?
To distract me form the fact that every second that pass means I'm slowly get close to unavoidable suffering and death that all humans will eventually face. And because I get bored.
Probably mainly because she likes the social capital it gains her. She also probably does understand them user, you're not smart for understanding accesible philosophical works.
So I don't go and start killing people.
Books protect you from people like me.
That which the human mind creates can be just as if not more fascinating than the real world.
nice!
