A 'man', a true 'man', and indeed not all fully-grown males are men, stands as a pillar of order and stability in the face of a chaotic and dangerous world. A shield of protection, but also a sword of attack. Even biologically we men, compared to women, have bigger bones, more muscle mass, more height, bigger lungs, and bigger hearts. This makes us tougher, stronger, more imposing, able to take more damage and abuse but keep going.
