Not based, but certainly red pilled and possibly patrician

Psued

Literally how

Not at all. Besides the first two, all of these books are books you're expected to have read before joining Yea Forums.

Hemingway with the most basic bitch entry level Russian writers every psued faggot on the planet buys to display on their shelf to feign intellectualism. Would be fine if you didn't take a picture of it and then ask for options, absolutely pathetic. WHOooa this nigga is reading Tolstoy???? Original
You read books based on image board charts, hollywood cliches of smart people, and an attempt at forming a cultural taste in order to converse with others

>your book choice is pseud
>your book choice is what you're expected to have read to be part of Yea Forums

Great to finally see some self awarwness around here

there is nothing wrong with reading WaP or TBK because you heard they were classics, calm down user

There's a stack thread for this you prick

try hard.

If you're 14-16 and actually reading them thoroughly, almost. If you're older and starting them or never reading them, you should consider yourself below entry level.

10/10 stack. No degeneratebooks in sight. Well done.

Only if you read them.

>reading books
>called Pseud.

Yes, they're all great books. Now actually read them.

Not, very entry-level tbqh. Keep trying.

I’m confused, they’re books, he bought them, why is he a pseud?, why is he a try hard?

>translations
translating literature is one of the most objectionable things ever conceived of by mankind.
>nabokov
>tolstoy
>dostoevsky
>hemingway
some classic "look ma, i'm reading" writers. this is the Yea Forums equivalent of joe rogan and jordan peterson types reading aurelius.

if you bought those books out of genuine interest, it's a fine stack. hemingway is overrated but decent and de quincey is great. the russians, save nabokov, are good but the translations, by nature of being translations, not do them justice.

i suspect, however, that you bought these books because you ascertained that these books are widely considered to belong in that exalted group, "the classics," and you got it into your head that reading "the classics" was imperative in order to cultivate intellectual superiority over your fellow man, a most desirable object of yours.

if the latter is the case, you should stop. you won't enjoy reading the books, nor will you gain anything from reading them. your primary goal, being to acquire the appearance of being well-read, can be satisfied by reading detailed summaries of these books. just tell everyone you meet that you've read them, and make some seemingly insightful remark regarding a particular aspect of the story. that is no more disingenuous than is reading the books because you want to be viewed as superior.

just read what interests you; if you're worth a damn that will be good, thoughtful literature anyway.

>Reading books
>Called stupid
Whhhaaaaaa????

The books you're reading makes you a psued, if you didn't take it as a personal insult of your reading choices this would be easy to understand
This specific collection of books attached to a person taking pictures of it is the call sign of a psued. Non psueds don't ask for opinions on reading Tolstoy and Hemingway because it's extreme entry level "smart" literature that is expected to have been read from an early age. It's like taking a pic of a Calculus 1 textbook asking mathematicians their opinions on it and getting buttmad when all you get is contempt. Keep your head down and study before trying to attach literature to some shallow persona you're creating for yourself

left is the best, middle is ok-tier and right is entry-level. cernovich is the most scholarly so he is the hardest to get into but also highly insightful.

You're the biggest pseud here

no u

it's actually a newfag stack. have fun on your Yea Forums journey, user
