I'm imagining you sitting down there trying to shake the agitated ADHD and restless leg syndrome long enough to ponder over a few pages of book, trying your best to feel content, before it all falls apart and you're back on the computer.

Mid century Scandi design is op and Wegner in particular was an amazing designer. He was also a master craftsman which is why his furniture not only looks good but is ergonomically sound and takes advantage of the woods natural attributes (obviously ops image doesn’t contain wood).

Nah, I'll tell you the truth about Revolt. I read about 2/3s of it in about a month and was into it, but then it started bogging me down. It IS a meme book. Needlessly repetitive and not really useful as a commentary on the shortcomings of the modern world. Plus, the conclusions it draws from the author's obviously vast knowledge of ancient spiritual traditions are unsubstantiatedly sweeping.
I WAS MEMED. I WILL NOT FINISH IT.
Ryan Jones
It's fun, read only for aesthetics of it. Don't take any of it seriously. This extends to most early 20th century 'traditionalists' like Spengler. Way way way to big of generalizations, at least with evola he doesn't dive into history turning it into his own personal little narrative to the extent of Spengler. Still fun though
John Rodriguez
That's exactly the impression I got. Haven't read Spengler (and probably won't), but nothing wrong in reading older characterizations of similarly dramatic social changes.

I can usually only manage reading for long periods of time while standing or walking around while vocalizing. Autism or NPC?

Definitely autism

It’s just that that most of the time philosophy gets really abstract so I can only make sense of it if I transform mundane contemplation into physical activity or motion. Like how most of my ideas come up when running up and down a road or tilling my garden with a hoe
