Why do so many Christians care so much about worldly possessions?

Those aren't Christians. They're Protestants.

Are protestants against the teachings of Christ?

Clearly.

Why use the cross as iconography if they don't care about Christ?

Didn't know that russian orthodox church is in fact run by protestants

Those aren't Christians. They're Americans.

They're not Christians either.

What's this no true scotsman BS?

Based

You do know what Resurrection means right? Jesus Christ rose both spirit and body. What is a body but atoms and particles, contained within a 4 dimensional space-time? Where does your body end, where does it begin, when the quantum waveform is spread to all eternity? There are hair and nails, those aren't even alive, there are individual cells, organs, muscles, the brain... but how can it sustain itself without food, sleep, exercise, air, stimuli, heat? You can't have a single body, not without the whole material world.

Mansions and yachts don't sustain anything.

They sustain shipwrights, carpenters, architects, etc.

Public projects do the same at a larger scale.

Why do you need public construction projects? Why not spend that money on food for the poor? Do you hate Jesus?

This but unironically

Feeding the poor doesn't sustain architects and carpenters.

>b-b-but it wasn't real Christianity!

Either way they both care about possessions. One group shames and the other acquires.

Matthew 7:13 - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat
