>why do these bodybuilders lads so often have that facial expression of sort of insecurity and aggression
Because they are insecure and aggressive, by and large.

The kinds of people who are big into gym are not terrible people, but they're low IQ narcissists who don't achieve much. Insecurity goes with the narcissism and lack of achievement, and aggressiveness goes with the low IQ and lack of prestige and insecurity.

By insecurity I don't mean that they're not self-confident because they are - they're just perpetually hyper-sensitive to perceived slights against them. For example, if you dare to have the opinion that fitness just isn't that important (which is a perfectly reasonable and defensible opinion, although not one I share) they will immediately form a sweaty dogpile on you because if fitness isn't that important then their one domain of prestige is rendered irrelevant. Cue the endless screeching about "fatty cope" and Western degeneracy and so on.

Source: I'm a faggot who likes to get fucked up the arse by big dumb meatheads, so I know plenty of them.

In short, like I said, they're not terrible people. They're just a subset of normal people, and normal people are all shit in their own special way. Not better or worse than anyone else.

How do you find them? Also are they cope with their sexuality? Have you tried to approach them first?

1,78
84 kg

Studying medicine.

You're a retard.

You know that by saying "I'm a faggot" you prove your opponents right, right?

>How do you find them?
Through friends and being social, as well as hookup apps. I have friends who are also into gym, and they have friends who are into gym, and some of them are gay. That plus hookup apps keeps me going.

>Also are they cope with their sexuality?
Some are, some aren't. You'd be surprised how many """bodybuilders""" do gay shit for money - or maybe not.

>Have you tried to approach them first?
Only if I'm confident they're gay. Otherwise it's a great way to get punched in the face.

>178cm and 84kg
>thinks he's big
lmao okay pal

Anyway, there are always exceptions and people in medicine are one of them. Obviously people in medicine generally take more care of their bodies, and that's an alternate (although less common) route to gym than being a low IQ narcissist. But they are generally like you: more into it than normalfags and disciplined enough to get a fair way to the natty limit, but nowhere near leaving humanity behind. You're not even on roids (if you are those stats are embarrassing btw, but medfags never roid in my experience) so don't pretend you're part of this discussion.

I admit to everything and apologise for none of it.

You would beg and apologize if the future 4th reich gestapo had you in their hands. You would probably rat out on your friends and family

Anyone who is confident that they would hold up under torture, who hasn't yet been tortured, is retarded.

For the happy fags who buy this daddy meme: what does your dad actually look like? Roiding bodybuilders like this are pretty uncommon - and moreso in previous generations - so it comes across as some sort of exaggerated disappointment with the real father figure.

thank you very much
I always have been really wanted to do what you do but thought they are out of my league; Like they are some kind of greek gods or so. But your explanation that they are just a normal people with their own problems really helped me get over the fear. You EMPOWERED me.

My lift stats are advanced since a long time ago, if you think 84 kg at that height and bodyfat is mediocre you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Then again if you don't weightlift it is YOU who has no place on this topic.

The discussion was about the psychology of people "big into gym" not about roiders, so don't move goalposts. Using harming substances to enhance performance when you are not even competing IS insecurity at it's highest peak, so I'll give you that.

Then again, using such broad generalizations and then resorting to "the exception confirms the rule" is just proving my point.

Also, my field of expertice is nonetheless irrelevant. I've been training before studying medicine and not because of some kind of love for the human body itself which is quite common within my collegues.

You should really go re-read the greeks and the concept of Kalos Kaagathos, or Nietszche and his re-affirmation of life and the body itself. From a psychological standpoint, the high performance training is primarily beneficial to the character and the mind, not the body itself, which is only a mean to acquire elevated insights into the human psyche. The act of refusing momentarily pleasure and voluntarily sustaining pain and hunger is the reward itself. Plato trained everyday, the gymnasium and sports playing a big part in his dialogues. Socrates praised the benefits of fasting, saying it made his body and mind sharper.

If you believe any attemp to achieve the actualization of the endless human potential (both in body and mind) is for insecure and aggresive people, I re-state my point and will adress you as a retard.

Tom Clancy.

Is that why you people train each others with BDSM?

Yeah... just remember that gay dating is very superficial. If you want to fuck attractive guys you will need to take care of yourself as well. I'm not built or anything but I keep fit and use moisturiser, style my hair, dress nice etc.

If you look hot you can fuck a different guy every night on Grindr if you want. I don't know why anyone would want to do that but you can. That's all there is to it.

>The discussion was about the psychology of people "big into gym" not about roiders
Take a look at the OP pic. That is the kind of lifter we are talking about - him and "bodybuilders" (quoting from the post to which I replied). Do you look like that? No, you are a lot leaner. That is because he is roiding and you aren't. We are talking about roiders, because nobody gets big without roids.

You are a natty gym casual. So am I. The very proof of this fact is that if you weren't a casual you would already be on steroids.

You don't need to defend your honour to me because I don't care about it and I'm not trying to insult you - I am trying to give you perspective. People like you and I don't do things like take steroids and eat 8,000 calories a day and workout 7 days a week because people like you and I are not the same as the insecure and aggressive low IQ "bodybuilders" like the OP pic and the poster was referring to.

That's the point. You're different to them. That's why I can still be right even while you also exist.

>if you think 84 kg at that height and bodyfat is mediocre you obviously have no idea what you're talking about
It's a well-developed natty, and no natty has ever achieved anything more than mediocrity. And I include myself here as well, so don't get snippy with me.

>If you believe any attemp to achieve the actualization of the endless human potential (both in body and mind) is for insecure and aggresive people, I re-state my point and will adress you as a retard.
Stop putting physique on a pedestal. Getting fit does nothing to help anyone other than yourself. It's not like I'm arguing against it, but fitness is a very minor virtue and leads to a whole lot of vices - arrogance and narcissism chief among them.

I'm actually a massive pussy who likes to cuddle, but big guys love the dom/sub hierarchy shit so eh.

Of course the OP talked about "bodybuilders" and attached an obvious roider, nevertheless "big into gym" was a direct quote from your post. Hence the "arguing".

The point is not to defend my honour, we're all anonymous here after all, and being offended by something so minor would be puerile. The point is that nowadays there's an increasing aversion towards physicial proficiency, mostly from an intellectual (or pseudo-intellectual in Yea Forums's case) point of view, which carries enourmous harmful implications. The body acceptance movement and the general "meathead" hate are the greatest examples of this. The body is an expression of the personality and since nowadays (post-postmodernism) there are no moral absolutes anymore, all kind of bodies (and therefore all kinds of morals, values, perceived virtues) are accepeted.

Then again, getting as big as possible whichever the cost is not my point, that would be the true mediocrity in my opinion, bastardazing such a virtue for narcissism and earthly ephimeral pleasures. The idea is to excell into the use of our first and foremost tool, the body, in order to develop a disciplined healthy mind. Mens sana in corpore sano has become a meme phrase, but its' wisdom is as undeniable as gnosi seauton.

>"Death, Drugs, and Muscle" by Nathan Jendrick, Gregg Valentino.
Have Rich Piana and Gregg Valentino practiced the transhumanism? Steroid and synthol has some aspect of accelationism.

W2C Yea Forums BF?!!

>nevertheless "big into gym" was a direct quote from your post.
Call it humorous understatement then. I was always referring to people who looked like the ones in OP pic. But make no mistake: plenty of natty lifters have the same problems that I described. It's just that virtually nobody who gets roider big escapes insecurity and aggression, whereas there are some natties who do. The decision to take roids or even just treat gym ""seriously"" is the filter for insecurity and aggression.

Even so, you get some roiding athletes (to the extent that weightlifting is athletic) who are in it to win it rather than because they are low IQ narcissists.

I'm not saying that everyone who touches a barbell is literally Hitler. I'm saying that the people who get seriously big are motivated by more than just their devotion to the virtues of physique or whatever cope they dribble about the honesty of iron. It's narcissism combined with few/no other sources of prestige. That's not the /whole/ story but it's an undeniable subplot or subcurrent that runs through the lifting subculture. Low IQ, aggression, insecurity, and narcissism are the bedfellows of serious lifters. Again, this isn't to say that they're terrible people. Intelligence doesn't make you a good person, and sometimes aggression is warranted. Insecurity is natural, and narcissism is just one of many flaws that a person can have and we all have some. They are normal people, not better or worse. But I am clear-eyed about the kind of people that they are, because I've been around enough gyms and gymgoers for the halo effect have worn off for me.

>the point is that nowadays there's an increasing aversion towards physicial proficiency
The fitness industry is massive and gets bigger every year. People DO want to be fit and attractive. That's just common sense. Ignore HAES retardos, they're a fringe minority that nobody cares about. Instead ask yourself: if being fit is great (it is) then why isn't everyone fit?

The answer is that gyms are expensive, inconvenient, and not fun. Fitness literacy is poor, and people are time poor and demotivated/alienated. Food is cheap and plentiful (that's not a bad thing, but it's a contributing factor). It has nothing to do with moral degeneracy and everything to do with a failure by society to make success easy and failure hard. We have the inverse: success is hard; failure is easy. So people fail. And then they get blamed for failing, and that pisses them off, and so they "fight back" with dumb shit like HAES.

>Then again, getting as big as possible whichever the cost is not my point
Sure, and that's the difference. The people I'm talking about just wanna get huge. It's their source of prestige, and the bigger they are the more prestigious they are. If you point out that this is retarded, they will come down on you like the hammer of God because you are attacking their very self-concept.

I'm already in a relationship.
