Meh, it’s not all that much better. It started off decent enough but it’s really only “good” when compared to something god awful like the Bemis run.
It’s still got insufferable characters and the art there is weightless due to the pencil thin lines. It’s super flat both in writing and art.

That’s a horrible reason, most specifically because if you or the artist (assuming you aren’t him) actually read comics you’d know Pete’s costume was originally black the blue was just a highlight like in Batman or Superman’s hair. There’s also the fact that in all of these comics the costumes are just left I colored otherwise Wolverine wouldn’t have made any sense.
They used it because they’re a casual and a hack.

thanks, OP this was ok but nothing special, decent art all around with maybe the exception of Bachalo the middle story dialogue was complete shit and the last story by Fornes and Guggenheim was kinda dull with an uninteresting gimmick. the Hickman story is something I really don't know what to think about that one.

Arts better in this story but I hate the arbitrary costumes and the dialogue is absolutely painful.
No reason for this to run backward and the art is the best of the issue, however the story - like the others - is pretty pedestrian.
Speaking of pedestrian McKays run is pretty much the definition of the word. Most overrated piece of shit. Feels like he comes here himself or has a few friends shill it all the time.
