Stack thread

Got these yesterday. Which one should I start with?

Unless you've read All the Pretty Horses and The Crossing, you shouldn't read Cities of the Plain. It's a trilogy and you have only the third and final entry.

Ubik is solid, but I found it disappointing after VALIS

*sighs* It's okay to read these books while you're starting to learn to read adult books, but you NEED to understand that Yea Forums is a board of intillectuals, who have already read all of those books. I myself have read each one in that stack multiple times. You are a pleb, and you will remain a pleb for a very long time. As you develop as a reader--IF YOU CAN--I suggest you stop all posting.

I recently read the first two books, and really liked them, especially The Crossing. Not sure if I want to start with Cities of the Plain though, since I don't want the trilogy to come to an end just yet.

Chouette!
Trop basé et pillé rouge!

Alright then. The Crossing was my favorite of the trilogy. I hope you enjoy that last entry. I found it incredible what Cormac was able to do with the last few pages.

Cheers, user, now I'm really looking forward to reading it.

I accidentally a few books when I went to the city:
>Bédier - The novel of Tristan and Isolde
>Lao She - Rickshaw Boy
>Hölderlin - Hyperion
>Katona - Bánk Bán (The "National Drama" of Hungary)

Got two for free:
>The Biography of the Hungarian Language
>Bernard - Old Masters

I'm especially interested in reading more of Lao She's writings, learning more about the history of my language, and seeing if Bernhard is just a one hit wonder or if all of his writings are good.
I enjoyed Bernhard's novel, "The Lime Works", it's a great book.

cursed bookstack. You won't make it through 5% of that. What a waste of money.

If you have a free week do Absalom, Absalom. It's difficult and you have to read it continuously to get it but, my God, is it worth it!

thoughts?

Absolutely based.
I'm reading it now, Spanish translation, and it is pure fire. I can't imagine how great reading the original would be

SF masterworks is the single worst publishing agency on earth

Why do you have this pic of mine saved and post it in every stack thread, user? Are u doing it ironically or genuinely? Also use the updated pic at least
