Comics you thought were satire at first

Friendly reminder to Yea Forums dreaming of utopia is 100% serious and not a parody of furries and woke culture.

Why can I read dreaming of utopia? I can’t find it online.

I ended up liking Dreaming of Utopia a lot more when it gets clear that it's about tensions between religious/cultural subgroups rather than it being a fursecution comic

Was it the original intention?

The artist deleted everything and nobody wanted to archive it
Which is pretty sad if I'm being honest, Dreaming of Utopia was big enough that you'd think SOMEONE would have backups

He was obviously on SOME level of irony, he wouldn't have included an Aaron Diaz parody if he wasn't.

>Diaz Parody
Wait, I don't remember this bit. What happened?
>mfw I deleted my reaction images from this comic because I thought it was too obscure to be funny

From what I remember Furtaugh (another reason it was a parody because how could that name be serious) went to a seedy porno theater which was owned by an obvious Aaron Diaz parody.

Eh, I seem to remember while the author took the setting pretty seriously, there was still a bit of tongue-in-cheek at parts. Solid art, at any rate.

I think there were elements of parody and comedy, but some of it pretty clearly wasn't. The bit about the Funeral, Furtaugh's loss of faith, The one dude who couldn't stop grieving over the guy who gets beaten to death, all of that felt, for lack of a better word; Real.

Yeah, that's probably it. I haven't read it in years but the author made the furry shit seem more cult compound-like so it was never something like fursecution or whatever, and the later stuff had some pretty blatant self-aware comedy about it.

Sounds to me like everyone is already taken but Juno. Personally I'd go just to see for myself what they actually put out for snacks.

To be fair this does work

If you're going to use one of the Twilight bois maybe use the one that doesn't want to fuck a baby.

Nutting doesn't help with migraines so I don't know how the hell it can help with cramps.

>Nutting doesn't help with migraines
My brother in Yotsuba, most things don't help with migraines.

>Comics you thought were satire at first
Most of the examples are political cartoons.

But it's the same type of myth sex-starved husbands use to try and convince their wives to put out. Shit doesn't work for insomnia either, I can promise you that.

Even twitter trannies thought this was making fun of LGBTQ twitter.

Please tell me this isn’t a high school club.

This isn’t half as cringe as savage dragon anti-trump issue that accidentally supported trump arguments.

Not comic-related but Bojack horseman accidentally comes across as anti-abortion. The pro-abortion episode is so preachy it comes across as a parody of pro-choice. Hollyhock Manheim-Mannheim-Guerrero and Bojack himself being alive yet they were unplanned for undermines the abortion episode. Bojack dad wanted Hollyhock to aborted until his mom stepped in to convinced hollyhock mother to give him up for abortion despite Bojack father pressuring her.

>Bojack dad wanted Hollyhock to aborted
That would've been for the best.

I am pro-abortion yet even I thought the episode was shit. Especially with it feeling out of character for mr peanut butter. Everything we seen before and after said he should’ve argued over Diane over her getting an abortion. Even sex and the city handled the subject matter better.

Reminds of 90s and 2000s anti-religion movies and shows backfired and come across as pro-religion. Kevin smith dogma and South Park comes to mind.

>to give him up for abortion
?

Meant to say her and adoption but I am French and drunk and stuck in Alabama airport.

Who has the one where it's reversed and a bunch of SJWs in the 'real girls" panel?

Yes.

OK Ko, is kind of like that but for furries, I didn't had a single problem with those weirdos wearing furry costumes until I saw the episode that was suppose to promote them.

Its fucking creepy how they tried to show furries as something normal in that episode by having a reverse furry convention where animals dress like humans. Seeing them in hollowed out human facsimiles actually made me realize how disturbing furries are.

If we are talking about OK KO. Same thing happen with gun control. Pro gun control propaganda seems to backfires the most no pun intended.

>French
>Drunk
>Alabama airport
Can we get the backstory on this? Your day sounds fun to hear about.

If you say the same about women...then is fucking sexist

>anti-trump issue that accidentally supported trump arguments
What? please post it

To be fair Fat Kevin looks like a chill dude, the fucking cow looks like the average SJW

Wait, how the fuck is masturbating supposed to solve your financial issues? 10 seconds after you wank you're going to realize you still owe crippling amounts of debt.

>implying dudes aren't into fat chicks

maybe in 2004 i would've SOMEWHAT agreed with you on the basis of "yea fat girls weren't as much of a thing" but as a human being that browsed the internet after 2010 i can tell you that's not the case.

probably more "you won't sink further into debt by rubbing one out" because having to pay for a hooker or taking a girl to dinner is going to cost a bit

flood of endorphins to your vagina, I'm guessing

It's a parody, just not in the way you understand

>parents choose their child's fursona
I'm not even a furry but I can immediately see this wouldn't work

Leth's only real solutions to problems involves fucking older married men with cancer.

A classic.

vroom vroom

Every Kelly comic, I can't believe he's being 100% serious.

the last chapter on Jazz was the best one and unironically a good read

Furries being pushed as a civil rights movement don’t seem unrealistic to me.

I teach French in American community colleges in the south because there still. A French speaking community.
>Your day sounds fun to hear about.
I don’t feel like paying for a motel. They let me sleep and drink in the air port.

Yeah but a big pull of being a furry is you get to design this cool "unique" individual persona for yourself.
If kids just inherit their fursona from their parents you'll just get them going all rebellious and contrarian
