Suki as Fire Lady is such a fun thing to think about. It basically turns Kyoshi Island into a Fire Nation outpost in Earth Kingdom waters, and this is AFTER the war has been ended and Zuko has declared peace.

Seriously, Book 2 of Korra is one of the worst fucking things I've ever watched in animation. Even the stuff that was neat, like the Wan parts, wound up retroactively ruining ATLA, so THEY were awful too. And the ending was a fucking nuclear disaster.

I stopped watching Korra after Book 2. I think a bunch of other people did, too, which is why the ratings collapsed and Nick had to put Book 4 on their website. Book 2 was so bad it killed the show.

Season 1 so far has been...average, That's the best I can say, having some good scenes such as that one where the evil dudes attack the arena, but a lot of nonsensical scenes, IMO the fights feel a bit like fucking naruto shippuden or something which is not a good thing, the romance drama is written in a way that I can't see anyone who isn't a teenager enjoying it, it's funny sometimes but the humor for sure doesn't even come close to Atla which made me laugh my ass off several times. It feels wrong when the fat fuck calls their group "new team avatar"
Anyway, I'm not going off the ride till the end, looking forward to see whatever the fuck is happening in the pic you posted.

On balance, it really fucking doesn't. Season 2 is an abomination, and Season 4 is just as bad. Season 3 is better, true, but it's still retarded and it still takes place in the complete shitshow that is the Korra interpretation of the Avatar setting. Korra is trash from start to finish.

I think people don't think about this often, but it's a big reason why they don't have very strong group cohesion. The whole thing is founded on a chain of boning: Bolin wanted to bone Korra, Korra wanted to bone Mako, and Mako wanted to bone Asami. That's what brought these people together, so once the bone chain collapsed after season 2, there was nothing really holding them together aside from some loose sense of loyalty to Korra. There's no personal motivations or strong bonds, just inertia.
