Honestly I’m not sure. I think it’s not too big not too small since the military still gives them some money for cooperation and testing
So of course we have Stella, Alice, Chrome, Bronze, and Iron living there

I think they theoretically could be “stored” but they definitely prefer living spaces to do things. Maybe Iron or Chrome has his own apartment I’m not sure but they definitely need some space sorta like how the gems has their temple rooms

they should have their own rooms that has another functions. Chrome's room doubles as a workshop, Iron's double as an armory, Bronze's room can be an area for training or meditation. will be more useful than a place for getting rest. if they do need rest. do they need it?

I feel like needing rest depends on which metal is talking and how active they are

i still want to talk about the metal combiners

I like the idea of Metals combining so what do you wanna discuss?

MM fusion has been discussed to death already:
Unlike Gem one, it's a permanent process during which two previous entities cease to be to create a new one.

yes. i know that. the fusions metal men has involves them fusing into an alloy where the two personalities disappear in exchange for a new mind entirely. what i was talking about are different metals attaching themselves to each other to create a larger and more dangerous entity
the metals combine by shifting their bodies and combining together to form a bigger entity. Plutonium Green saw the gems fusing to become larger entities so he created combiners as a possible counter to them. while not as powerful as Sugilite or Alexandrite, PG made these combiners to boast heavy firepower capable of wiping out a platoon of gem enemies. since they can separate into multiple smaller metals, they can also be effective stormtroopers sneaking into gem territory to wreck havoc or as hit and run attackers.

I actually really like this idea of plutonium creating specific metals capable of combining to become stronger. Since metals are rigid perhaps they’re capable of switching limbs or doing Voltron esque body shifts instead of true fusion
Either that or it’s like DC’s metal men

i think PG would create them by manipulating their bodies while still in the forges or getting volunteers who will undergo operation that will make them compatible with other volunteers.
i can see a band of combiners who saw GOLD's bounty for Stella and tried to take it for themselves. at first, the band of 15 combiner individuals will just try to outnumber her and her metal uncles but will be repelled. after that they will use their combinations to use heavier firepower while also splitting apart to reposition and strike where they are least expected.

That is honestly a really interesting idea.
How do you feel about beast combiners or combiner beast forms which resemble animals more so that humanoids?
Also some combinations similar to metal gears and some combos being rearrangable and shifting during a fight
I know this isn’t a combiner but AOE Grimlock looked badass and matches what I’m thinking of

they are a mixed bag when it comes to their looks. most smaller combinations that has 3-5 combiners are humaoid in appearance just like a bigger metal man.
i like the idea that bigger combiners that has more members will be more beastly or more mechanical. some will look like walking weapons platform like the MG Rex or the Stone Rhino. some will look like giant animals with weapons attached like a dragon with cannons on its back or like a fire breathing Grimlock as you showed.

could be nice but they will probably be very fragile and is best suited for hit and run instead of a direct assault.

members of the Titanium Authority would have their own combiners too.

he prefers the strength of one's characters but i am sure he also knows of the value of teamwork. not sure if he will have combiners or what they would look like.

with a spunky attitude, a cute face, and the desire to always pick on her sister i won't be suprised if Pyrite gets herself a boyfriend before Stella does. maybe even a harem of boys who are head over heels for her.
