from town enslaving to a mass murder killing spree, she has stepped into deep irredeemable territory and has done far worse than most mcu villains but do I still wanna comfort and see her get help bros?
From town enslaving to a mass murder killing spree...
SIMP!
Isn't she under the influence of The Darkhold? Honestly, after her moment of weakness, she didn't stand a chance.
>Xavier gets killed, again
I'd like to pretend that he just jumped bodies, again, too. But, can't chuck get a break?
Because deep down, you realize the influence of the Darkhold makes her about as culpable as Bucky and a less evil person than Valkyrie.
This is why the Yea Forums invaders are fucking stupid and grasping straws. I don't even simp for Wanda but her entire life has been a goddamn train wreck and chaos demons warped her mind at her lowest point
>That fucking Sadako like entrance through the reflection in Kamar Taj
Still wanna fuck her tho...
wanda is a cute. A CUTE!
kys loser
Nigga it is canon that she was manipulated by the elder god of magic Cthon from BIRTH.
Her powers were even manipulated to the point where it wasn't just controlling probabilities but she was gaining mystical powers that allowed any spell no matter what that she used to work in any way.
Her ability to manipulate probability and luck and change the outcomes of events and basic psionics combined with magic that merely allows bending of reality created the ability to completely alter reality totally.
And as cthons hold over her grew so did her power and ability to tap into those ancient powers that he held and holds.
She' was born as the ultimate culmination of untold millenia of planning.
An avatar of an existence that ruled the stars as something far more then the idea of a god and far far more terrible.
They should have leaned into that and her being manipulated by that entity to become a monster who does its bidding.
Can you imagine people going back and looking at all of her apperances and picking out the SO THATS WHY SHE DID THAT!! moments.
The sad thing is that even people who thought she was evil in "WandaVision" can't rejoice in being proved right because this movie ignores literally everything from WandaVision (even the tag scene of WV sets up something that doesn't happen in the film, the Darkhold works differently in the show) and her motivations are so ridiculous that it doesn't even work as her turning to the dark side after WV.
It's two different teams working on basically the same story at the same time (Raimi said he didn't even know WV existed until this story was almost finished) and not coordinating at all.
I don't care for the excuses. I'm just tired of her. She's far overstayed her welcome at this point, especially since she's often the most powerful character around aside from maybe Captain Marvel because her chaos magic shit is defined as "She's as powerful as she needs to be at any given time."
>The sad thing is that even people who thought she was evil in "WandaVision" can't rejoice in being proved right
Let's be honest, most of them were reading the worst possible take into everything she did there because they already hated her. They watched a story about her losing control of her powers and kept describing it as "she deliberately enslaved and tortured a town for weeks". They KNOW that's not what happened, but none of them would ever back down and admit they're lying to make her look worse.
MoM giving them the Villain Wanda they wanted doesn't "prove them right" about WandaVision, and their noticeable silence about Druig enslaving an Amazon tribe for centuries, and about other MCU heroes who had innocent blood on their hands makes it look like they just had some hateboner for Wanda that pre-dated WandaVision.
>Raimi said he didn't even know WV existed until this story was almost finished
Are you serious
Purest Copium.
>"she deliberately enslaved and tortured a town for weeks".
That is litterally what she did.
There is no interpretation for this.
It's a fact
Is it day or is it night.
Now if enslaving an entire town and making their lives hell for i don't know how long is good or bad is up to your interpritation.
But the rest of humanity thinks that's clearly an act of an evil selfish despot.
Oh, I wish I wasn't serious, but not only hadn't he heard of the show, he never even watched all of it.
I don't blame him for that, it was Feige's job to notice that Raimi was doing the exact same story as WandaVision with more violence. He either didn't notice or didn't want to change it.
Technically it's days in the context of the show, at least from when she becomes aware that she's in control.
Her crime is when she realizes she's in control she won't give it up because she'd lose Vision again. So she convinces herself everybody's somehow happier this way. When Agatha shows her what she's actually doing to people, she stops and gives up Vision and the kids even though they're real creatures with free will (which is what that terrible "they'll never know what you sacrificed" line refers to).
She's a criminal for not letting them go immediately, but there's just no direct line from "I will give up my kids to stop torturing people, but I'd prefer not to" to "I will kill the world to kidnap kids who look like those other kids."
It's not like anyone seriously tried to give her motivation in the movie; they even address the fact that she could just ask America to take her to those kids, and come up with the most bullshit reason possible why she can't.
>she stops and gives up Vision and the kids even though they're real creatures with free will (which is what that terrible "they'll never know what you sacrificed" line refers to).
And keep in mind that most of the people who've spent a year screeching about what she did are also arguing against the canon of the show, and insisting Vision and the twins aren't alive, even though it explicitly says they are. You can't reason with people who insist their own headcanon is real over what actually happened.
>it explicitly says they are
If they were alive then they would still be around when she freed the victims she trapped in her psychotic fantasy land
The key word is "deliberately". The show is pretty clear that she doesn't know anyone's being tortured until Vision finds out and tries to tell her mid-way through the season, and she's in denial until Agatha actually shows her in the final episode. She clearly wasn't deliberately doing something that she didn't know she was doing.
Pretty sure some random actual faggot on a North Korean bee-keeping forum doesn't get to decide what "the rest of humanity" thinks, either.
To be fair, you're supposed to be 9 to watch WandaVision, maybe try it again when you're older and you might finally get it.
No please.
Explain how this stupid bullshit works.
If they are alive then when she stops her magical land of mental rape they should still be there.
But they are not.
Why?
How in the fuck couldn't she have fucking known.
The bitch can read minds
She spent the entire time manipulating their thinking to act like tvshow cahracters.
Everything she did is Chthon fault you know that, everybody knows that, this is just X-men movies Jean Grey turning into phoenix
They were real, but their existence was tied to the Hex, so they couldn't survive outside.
All creatures can't survive outside their environment, it doesn't mean they're not real.
Man this along with the rate of movies and shows being released, it can't bode well for the future.
Nothing says she reads minds
has there been any other character whose comics fanbase has been utterly killed off instead of just overtaken by adaptationfags like wandafags
The more deranged she gets the hotter she gets, why is that?
>done far worse than most mcu villains
Red Skull - attempting to nuke major US cities
Loki - led an invasion for a psychopath who kills 50% of the population
Malekith - attempting to blot out all suns
Ultron - tried to cause an extinction-level impact
Alexander Pierce - tries to kill millions of people with tracking death lasers
Kaecillius - tries to feed our entire reality to the Dark Dimension so he can live forever
Ronan the Accuser - stopped while trying to exterminate an entire populated planet
Ego - in the process of wiping out life on countless seeded worlds, after murdering scores of his own children
Supreme Intelligence - waging genocidal war across the galaxy and killing incidental civilians
Thanos - literally kills half of all life
Xu Wenu - killed 10s of thousands in his life, tried to unleash soul-eating superdemon
Celestials - literally farming sentient planets for baby food
Really it's only Peter, Scott and Tony who have personal villains trying to do low-stakes damage, mostly just wars. Even still, the warmongers would end up causing/have caused more suffering than Wanda to this point.
>Wanda - Enslaves a village. Kills heroes. Tries to kill an innocent girl and steal her power just so she can live a false life with alternate children that weren't hers
There's only a few who have done LESS harm than Wanda
Crossbones - attempted to set off a lethal bio agent in a crowded city
Obidiah Stane (unless you count indirect Stark Enterprises war casualties)
Justin Hammer (pretty much same as Stane, only less successful
Killian Aldrich - hadn't really gotten steam, intended to be another Obidiah
Darren Cross - yep more warmongering
Erik Killmonger - and yet more war
Dreykov - systematic abuse of children, assassinations
Mysterio - was willing to cause mass death in London and kill schoolchildren
Vulture - sold alien weapons to criminals, tried to kill Spider-Man
>Ghost - kills as an agent (like Natasha), an incidental murder attempt on Janet
So from least to most killiest, probably Vulture at a 1 and Dormammu/Thanos at a 10, Wanda probably comes in at a 5.
>Tony
Uh no.
Tony himself is a villain who is behind thousands of deaths
He's also responsible for ultron and pierce.
Wanda is perfect and everyone else deserves it.
I said Tony's villains were less directly murderous, I did not mention Tony himself at all. Black Widow and Hawkeye are murderous as fuck, Thor beamed down to planets and went on kill-fests to blow off steam.
This but unironically.
>noooooooooooooooo if you don't worship every turd d*sney plops out you are a Yea Forums crossboarder!
Mouseredditors have lost their minds. Too many back to back flops have broken them.
For me it's America
why didn't wanda search the multiverse for someone with the power to create life...wait a minute why didn't she just have sex unironically?
..why didn't she steal the timestone from another universe and use it to rewind the MCU and then btfo thanos so he never snaps?
even better why didn't she build her own infinity gauntlet and fix everything?
Bad writing it's a bad movie
I'm now watching the Inhumans series
kevin feige doesn't want you to watch it anyway
Good
How could the wicked witch have such a devoted following?
I always thought she should've been a member of the Illuminati instead of Steve in Hickmans run.
Hickman wrote TWO ongoing Avengers books from 2012 to 2015 and he didn't even mention Wanda, didn't use her or Pietro, Vision, Hank or Jan at all in all that time. He starts writing X-Men and immediately starts demonizing Wanda over an old story from 2005, then writes a mini where he portrays her as an incompetent failure who should just kill herself.
It's for the best he never wrote her more.
I think they've really gotta pump the brakes on how fast they're churning this stuff out now cause it's clearly hurting them. Superhero fatigue has been a boogeyman for years now, but I think we're genuinely starting to see it or are right on the cusp of it.
They went from 2 films a year, which is already a lot when both are blockbusters, then to 3 in 2017, and last year after covid caused a backlog we suddenly got 4 films and 5 shows. You can't keep a standard level of quality or the audience's attention when you're putting out that much stuff all within a year. Even now we've still got Thor 4, Black Panther 2, Ms Marvel, She Hulk, and they're doing two seasonal specials. It's too much
Did he not write her into an Annual at some point? Of New Avengers? Around 20 or so
Absolutely relentlessly based
>no one mentioning Christine marrying a black dude
whos the chick in the ending? Clea ?
based
Clea is Strange's endgame. no one gives a fuck about Christine. That was a surgeon's girlfriend, not the Sorceror Supreme's.
>not the Sorceror Supreme's.
he ain't the sorcerer supreme
That was great need a web vid of that
neither are you.
He will be after Strange 3: Triumph and Torment.
>Kaecillius - tries to feed our entire reality to the Dark Dimension so he can live forever
Kaecillius though everyone would live forever.
He really should have researched the whole situation a bit more carefully, he IS a Master Sorceror.
Just checked, Hickman's Avengers and New Avengers had one annual each, he didn't write either annual, and Wanda doesn't appear to be in either of them. The New Avengers one is a Doctor Strange solo story, the Avengers one is a Christmas issue.
*Simps*
She didn't want kids in general. She specifically wanted Bill and Ted back.
Infinity Stones don't work outside their home universes.
Billy and Tommy, user. Teddy is Hulkling.
