ITT: A variety of comic artstyles

Do: post unique, uncommon, and original styles from comics. it doesn't have to be "the most gorgeous page of the whole work", just good looking and interesting.

Don't: post covers (that's false advertising) or one bizarre page that does not reflect the rest of the work (e.g. Spider-Man drops acid for 1 page before going back to a generic house style)

You requested "unique, uncommon, and original"
I'll stand Fletcher Hanks up against anyone in any category except "good".

Nice thread OP. Unfortunately I don't know a lot of comics that have a unique style

Alberto Breccia - Mort Cinder
Some of this is drawn with a razor blade.

Alberto Breccia - Perramus
I know sponges were used, but maybe not on this page.

I remember some panels from Perramus looking a lot like Sienkiewicz style used in Big Numbers.

Last one is Sharknife

Your thumbnail reminded me of this.
Brendan McCarthy - Rogan Gosh
It must have been the panels with Borges, since he look the least like a caricature.

Good stuff. Is there a link?

Dave McKean - Black Dog
McKean alone has so many styles.

Jose Antonio Munoz. His artstyle changed drastically throughout the course of Alack Sinner.

Pretty wicked thread. I'll try to contribute but my folder is huge, so it'll take a while for me to find something to share.

Love the inking in the first one. Does he have other stuff inked in a similar vein?

Oh nice. I'm pretty sure I posted this originally.
Not exactly. His art changed with every story he drew. You can still see he uses the same tools, but there is a notable difference.
The Eternaut 1969 is kind of similar.
Viajero de gris seems to employ a bunch of his styles, but it's closest to Perramus.
