desu you only say that because back in the 00s most major blockbuster movies had at least some heart to them, even if they were shitty or made by megacorps like Disney. Nowadays it's rare for any big movie to have soul.
These two movies were kinda lame at the time and they're still kinda lame now, but they had a few neat things here and there. Ioan Gruffudd and Michael Chiklis as the Thing were both great casting, and I especially like how the Thing was a practical suit
also from looking up pics of 2005 Reed to post I learnt that Gruffudd ended up going to therapy after the two movies failed to launch a big Hollywood career, which is pretty rough desu

They are comfy. Neither are particularly good, but all the actors are having fun and there's a lot to enjoy. 1 is better than 2, of course.

Definitely not kino, but they're not outright terrible either. Just not on the level of their contemporaries like X-Men or Raimi's Spider-Man. From memory, I think they suffer a lot in particular from the 00s approach to comic book movies, where you can't let them be too corny. Which is a problem for the FF, since that's exactly what they are, but it's why we got stuff like American Doom and space cloud Galactus

Passable, especially during its time when the only other team superhero movie was an ensemble cast X-Men.
