>NOOOOO YOU CANT JUST MAKE A CONNECTED UNIVERSE WHERE I'M EXPECTED TO WATCH OTHER THINGS AAAAAAAAAHHHHH SAVE ME CINEMAN

Do I have to watch Doctor Strange 1 through?

Yes user, Doctor Strange 1 is important to watch before Doctor Strange 2.

Republicans

I have watched Agent of Shield s6, all of What if..., Loki, X-Men the Animated Series, and Inhumans, haven't seen Deadpool1 or 2 or Doctor Strange 1, what to do?

>watch Inhumans
No.

This is why the MCU won't be popular with young people in the future. Kids being born today aren't going to watch fucking Wandavision to understand this movie.

What's the point though? It doesn't lead to more satisfying storytelling, it just leads to moments where you and your friend awkwardly try and remember which movie/show provided context for this scene.

Watch Dr. Strange and Deadpool 1

You Think a Causal will say HMMMM OK DERP LET ME WATCH A MONTHS WORTH OF CONTENT I NEVER CARED ABOUT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON.

Fuck no man, they want shit explained to them witch the movie probably does already it's all just a fucking push to get more Disney Plus Subs.

>Montes
It would be two weeks at much

How, I got my ticket for Strange 2 for Saturday morning. Deadpool 1 seems like the most unfunny bullshit ever.

You sound like someone who struggles with books over 100 pages

Why do I need to watch the 7th episode of season 6 of agents of shield?

If someone was totally new to the MCU at this point (ie, if they've never seen a single movie/show) the Marvel Legends series on D+ is the easiest thing to do by showcasing the characters.

I've never read a book that requires me to read 10 other books and 4 magazines to understand it. This is honestly the same problem comics have these days, and now it's being imported into the MCU.

Is Agents of Shield worth watching? I tried to jump into season 6 based on that tweet but quickly realized I wouldn't understand anything and I don't think I want to watch the rest of the show. At least with Inhumans it's just 1 season of garbage and X-men is a kids cartoon so it shouldn't matter if I jump in into the middle.

Kids will probably just watch TikTok instead of subscribing to Disney+ and trying to catch up on years of gay MCU lore.

No.

Yeah, I don't feel like doing homework to enjoy a movie. MCU is getting like how the base comics are where you get an ad for a comic in the middle of another comic just to get what's going on.

>I've never read a book
It shows

Really? I thought X-Men TAS was longer then that?

Cope.

Spectacular reading comprehension

name 10 books

>want to watch Ant-Man 3
>have to watch Loki to understand it
This is their new grift and I hate it.

A book is usually a singular work that can be judged on its own grounds, even (good) sequels should do that.

It killed me with in 3 episodes like murdered my interests brutally, some people tell me it get interesting in like episode 8, but if a damn show has to build up that long to be interesting then it's not worth the watch, I'M LOOKING AT YOU GoT AND BREAKING BAD!!!

Please don't reply all at once, I can't handle having to read multiple things before I start a new one

Sorry sweetie but you have to go read my tumblr, my last 50 tweets, my YouTube vlog series, and my medical history to understand my post. Oh you don't like my post? Then you clearly didn't read my Tumblr, DChud.

The moment you're required to watch not ONE, but TWO shows that are so disconnected from the MCU in the greater scheme of things, I think you have to call it quits at the end. Especially when you have to watch a specific episode in a specific season, or a whole season of a separate show with its own thing going on.
The fact you actually thought to type this out astounds me user.

>bringing up DC out of nowhere
Should have known

Malding.

Can we reboot the MCU?

kek

They'll have to eventually. It'll probably be a soft reboot where movies going forward will barely mention previous movies. Kids being born right now won't give a single flying fuck about Avengers 1 and 2.

If you are a canon sperg, no, it takes a minute for the show to get good. But it has a real good high and the lows aren't so bad, all things considered.

Based

How am I mad? For questioning things I think are pointless or dumb?
Honestly, you could've soft rebooted the MCU with IF/EG but Marvel thought it'd be best to start making everything connect again.
I like your thinking

The only reason I'd consider watching it is because I'm a canon sperg and I need to see it if it's directly referenced in the new movie. Hell I watched fucking Venom in preparation for Far From Home, I'm clearly a huge autist.

Are you people made of fucking free time?
How is everyone watching over a dozen movies and 6+ shows, multiple times

>comic book fans have been groaning about having to keep up with complicated bullshit event comic plot threads for decades
>now that another medium is doing the same thing, we're not pretending that we've always enjoyed doing so

Attached: 1382414766818.gif (320x240, 1.91M)

You now understand why no one wants to get into comic books.

>Are you people made of fucking free time?
NEETs, user.

Do not watch Agents of Shield, wait now that it is canon, I guess do watch it now with the knowledge that its in the multiverse and not canon to the current MCU timeline. Its some good shit half of the time when you don't constantly ask yourself "how does this connect to the MCU" and "why isn't *insert hero here* here". When I first started watching, I did this, it hurts your enjoyment of the show.

one of the character i like got cucked hard by a teleporting monolith. it's shit

It’s 2 hours

adhd addled brain running movies and tv as "background noise" while doing other stuff

Wouldn’t be the worst thing. Get some new actors to play some of the original characters for new stories and then cash in on bringing back some of the old actors down the line in an eventual multiverse crossover that will make a billion dollars.

please say sike

At this point, the movies are becoming like the comics. No wonder people are stopping with the MCU when the movies get as convulted as the comics. Just give me a regular damn trilogy with the occasional team up, dammit.

The Twitter account in OP's post is a troll.

They're trying to with The Marvels

They know exactly what they're doing.
>Want to watch Dr. Strange 2? Better watch Wandavision!
>Want to watch Ant Man Quantamania? Better watch Loki!
>Want to watch Captain America 4? Better watch F&TWS!
>Want to watch Marvel Knights? Better watch Moon Knight!
I was fine when these were all just movies loosely connected to each other but now I have a ton of TV homework to do and i won't do it. I feel like this is the point where these movies stop being interesting to me.

The Cat In the Hat
The Cat in the Hat vs King Kong
The Cat in the Hat vs Jason
The Cat in the Hat and the Olympians
The Death and Return of the Cat in the Hat
The Cat in the Hat and the Deathly Hallows
The Cat in the Hat 2099
The Diary of the Cat in the Hat
Brave New Cat in the Hat
The Cat in the Hat: My War Gone By

There, I named ten books. Suck my dick user.

Loki sets up Kang who is the main villain of Quantamania. You really won't understand that evil Kang exists because of Loki/Sylvie unless you watch Loki.

You dont even need to watch any marvel movie to understand the latest ones

Cool. Then we can get crossovers between the MCU Earth-1 and MCU Earth-2.

I mean you literally wouldn't understand why Wanda is a psycho about her kids unless you watch Wandavision.

>and then cash in on bringing back some of the old actors down the line in an eventual multiverse crossover that will make a billion dollars.

Also this all stems from Infinity War due to Thanos killing Vision. This entire movie hinges on something Thanos did 4 years ago.

Well you don'' have to watch the 1982 Thing before the 2011 Thing.

I mean, ultimately most of the mcu shows aren't super necessary and can be summed up as one sentence.
Wandavision: "Wanda is learning powerful magic and is now the Scarlet Witch"
Loki: "Loki unleashed the multiverse, Kang exists"
tfatws: "Captain America can say the n-word now"
Hawkeye: "Hawkeye has a side kick"

Anything more than that is just gonna be like Matt Murdock appearing in No Way Home, you point at the screen and clap but didn't really need the extra context.

>The Cat in the Hat: My War Gone By
I'd read that.

Dune.

Watch it when you're off work
Like everyone else...

user they just listed over 16 hours of content you should watch to understand this movie, and that 16 hours DOESN’T include the first dr strange

The sooner the MCU filters all the normies and capeshit can go back to being a pseudo niche will be fucking great.

Forgetting the obvious fact that those 16 hours are only the things you wouldn't expect needing to watch, since you're gonna have to watch all the other MCU movies with strange, which includes all the old spiderman movies, venom movies, and everything that's a prereq for Endgame.
Ultimately though you're an autist retard if you think you actually need to watch 6 and a half seasons of daytime television garbage just to understand a 1 off joke at the expense of the series.
