Is Superman the worst father?

For example
Batman and Superman had a son that they didn't consistent too.
>Batman: took care of him and give him unconditional love
>Superman: spent years not trusting him and thinking he was evil.

Goku and Superman abandoned their son
>Goku: was literally died and fear that he negatively impacted earth.
>Superman: was bored with protecting earth, so he wanted to do a solo mission without his team.

The goku bad father meme is only from tfs and super. In the show he wasn't nearly as bad as Vegeta or even Piccolo throwing Gohan to the wilderness for 6 months

Goku threw his son at a big bug monster man, healed that monster man, and his son nearly died from it multiple times, and Goku had to sacrifice himself so the entire planet didn't get blown up.

>uuummmm sweaty ackshually goku is not a bad dad!!!!
did you missed the part where goku decided to leave the responsibility of the world to his 10 year old son just because his son was "keeping up" with him?
how about the part where goku didn't even bother telling his son what the plan was?
or how about the part where goku gives the evil bug man a senzu bean because otherwise it wouldn't be a "fair" fight
or what about when goku leaves the responsibility of the world (again) to his (even younger) second son? even though later he states he could have solved the problem by himself.
does any of that sounds like something a good parent would do?

Goku did nothing wrong, manlet. He had faith in Gohan and told him in advance that he wanted him to fight if he couldn't do it.

Coomer answer: Difference is, Thalia is a hot woman, Luthor isn't.
Din't Connor spent most of his life with Luthor? Damian was still a kid when he went living with Bruce.
Gohan turned into Sayaman and Goten is a slacker and living off of Trunk's work

In comics, anything can happen, so I believe that Jon's boyfriend will get shot by a laser invented by Braniac and he'll grow a vagina, which will allow Superman's lineage to continue.

Bruce fucked Babrbara and Tim is also a fag; Gohan took dating advices from Roshi; Peter lives in another universe

>was literally died
Being died sucks

Let's not pretend that Goku contributed to Gohan's over all life
That credit goes to Chi-Chi who actively had him study and act like a person in normal society
The only gay thing that happened was him wanting to be a superhero for a while but even then he got his wife into it as well

This.
>Goku literally went into papa bear mode when Gohan got kidnapped by Raditz
>Gave Gohan a pep talk when he got dabbed on by Vegeta
>Literally stuck up for Gohan against Chi Chi
>Told Gohan to get out of the way when he turned into a Super Saiyan for the first time out of Gohan's safety
>Took time out of his own training to train Gohan
>Supported Gohan during his training in Other World
The only times Goku wasn't there for Gohan was due to him being incapacitated, off world, or being fucking dead.

>He had faith in Gohan
doesn't make it better
>and told him in advance that he wanted him to fight if he couldn't do it.
Goku putting that sort of pressure on Gohan furthers our argument, not yours.

It was literally the only shot they had and he knew it. The way he acted about it was all wrong, it wasn't until Piccolo made him realize there is not even a cell of battle lust inside of Gohan that he started panicking and was about to 2v1 Cell even if it was hopeless.

Conner was like 4 years old when Superman learned of his existence.

I wonder why Goten and Trunks had battle autism, but Gohan didn't.

Trunks to impress his father, Goten because chi-chi tried to make him like goku.

No he really is a bad father and iirc even Toriyama agrees.

>Goten because chi-chi tried to make him like goku.
>Gohan was the practice child
I know this feel.

He is a bad father

I hope you get bitten by a radioactive English book OP.

I'll be honest, nothing has actually made me hate Dragon Ball more than Dragon Ball fans.

Why is Peter smugly getting hard over Miles giving Gewn the BBC a 'father and son moment'?

holy this

they're utterly obsessed with the power level faggotry that has long infested comics. they don't get that whoever wins is who Akira feels like should win, as with most other writers--not off of some internal power logic.

Ah, another tr/a/nny come to worship at the knees of the character who inspired Goku's creation. It's good to see you acknowledge your betters even if you mask it in seething.

Batman is a horrible piece of shit father. He recruits young boys to fight dangerous criminals. And don't bother saying Damian is a Super Human, it's still shit. The worst of it is that when one of Batman's young apprentices dies? He continues the cycle and gets a new one never learning.

>It was literally the only shot they had and he knew it.
Then why the senzu bean? If a situation is almost hopeless why actively make it worse? If it weren't for 16 (a piece of the puzzle that literally no one considered, because why would they think Gohan would care about him) they all would have died, and even then Cell almost wins TWICE after that because of how unprepared Gohan was for this fight. People trying to justify Goku's actions during the Cell games is insane to me, literally every other character calls him out on what a bad plan it is, the story itself demonstrates what a bad plan it is by having other characters step in to un-fuck the situation Goku created. Why do the readers act like it was a good plan?

Why do Bruce and Peter get characters who aren't even related to them but Clark doesn't get Conner?

because it's an image made by somebody who's obsessed with "trying to take a cultural icon down a peg"

BITCHpermansisters......

I miss this run so much bros. I hope Bendis burns for what he did.

Yet Piccolo does not do it to Pan.

Isn't that superboy prime during Infinite Crisis?

Goku is not a strategist.

Because they actually read, you're just falling for the grand scale meme (goku does suck as a dad)/praying all the speedreaders are right but he was right about the thing he trains all his life for. There was literally nothing else that could work, he knew he and all the other fighters going up against Cell at his full power was a death sentence, he initially fought so Gohan could read his movements and get ready. Battle spirit wise he thought Gohan was like him deep down, battle potential he knew at that time he overshadowed him. He knew Gohan was a wuss only on the surface (he was wrong on that part) so he wanted him to get pushed to the fucking edge to get to that next level (he was right here) by giving Cell a senzu bean, he wanted to leave nothing to chance. Too bad he was absolutely wrong about Gohan's attitude.

Remember how smug Goku was literally every single second right up until Piccolo finally made him realize Gohan doesn't have the capability to even want to fight? He straight up panics, asks for a senzu bean, gets ready to get into the fight tournament rules be damned and was ready to go full multiple V 1 on Cell until Cell spat out manlet versions of himself that wailed on the z crew. Goku went right back into smug mode right away when SS2 appeared (unlike everyone else who was shocked at the level of power) because he knew at that point the plan worked and it was over for Cell, the path was just a bit different to get there.

Literally a 300 IQ move in the right circumstance, he was just too stupid and self centered to read Gohan's feelings on the matter.

I miss tomboy Videl.

OMG did Chi-Chi wanted wincest?

Batman and Goku are awful dads though. Goku is a manchild who doesn't view his family any differently than his friends and Batman regularly abuses/neglects his kids

Literally everything you just said details why it was a shit plan and that Goku didn't really know anything about his own son personality-wise despite them spending a whole year with only each other. And that somehow Piccolo, the guy who kidnapped Gohan and threw him into the woods, understood Gohan better.

>literally everything
Lol no. It worked. Plan was able to finish thanks to 16, Cell was only defeated because Goku planned 95% of what happened to get to SS2.

>Goku is not a strategist
If you actually read or watched the comic/show, multiple people talk about how Goku is a retard except he's brilliant when it comes to fighting. Goku knew the only thing they could do to win would be to get Gohan mad and draw out his latent power. In order for that to happen, Cell had to be strong enough to really fuck shit up.

Stay in your containment thread, cunts.

There is still Aquaman, an individual that failed to save his infant son which resulted in his untimely death. And there is Spider-man, an individual that had his newborn daughter stolen from him and never recovered.

>Plan was able to finish thanks to 16
Something Goku didn't at all expect to happen, he had already abandoned the plan by this point
>95%
He didn't expect Gohan to not want to fight, he didn't expect Cell to pop out 7 more of himself, he didn't expect 16 to be the trigger for Gohan to let loose, he didn't expect Gohan to torture Cell instead of just kill him, he didn't expect Cell to decide to blow himself up, and he didn't expect Cell to come back after doing that.
95% of what happened was a complete surprise to Goku, and if your plan hinges on a bunch of shit you have no clue about, it's a shitty plan.

>If you actually read or watched the comic/show, multiple people talk about how Goku is a retard except he's brilliant when it comes to fighting.
And they tell him he's completely retarded with his Gohan plan.
>Goku knew the only thing they could do to win would be to get Gohan mad and draw out his latent power. In order for that to happen, Cell had to be strong enough to really fuck shit up.
And this fails, as getting the shit beaten out of him doesn't trigger SS2 at all, it's 16's death. It was a shitty plan.

>16's death
A16 was never truly alive. He was just a lifeless programming that reacted and acted like how he was programmed.

Man I was just trying to be nice to you but you really don't know how to read. I said up to SS2, the thing he was planning : ). There's literally nothing else that he said he planned for no matter how hard you look, you're just straight up wrong and had to fish for things after Goku's plan had already worked to include them in the things leading up to Gohan getting stronger, even though they happened after. I don't know a rebuttal for that kek

Attached: 1352573428982.png (917x927, 572.02K)

well take that up with Gohan, who was the one who got extremely pissed off at 16's not-death

Batman is shit father
>abandoned Damian on his birthday
>blamed Alfred death on him

He did almost single-handedly invade Apokalips and kicked the shit out Darkseid to resurrect his son, tho

>I said up to SS2, the thing he was planning
Goku literally abandons the plan by the time Gohan has actually transformed. He didn't expect Gohan to not want to fight, he didn't expect the Cell Jrs, and he didn't expect 16 to be the trigger. These are three major things that are a complete surprise to him.

Miles isn’t related to Peter and real Spider-man fans don’t like Miles, you retarded shitskin.
Conner is the real and only SuperSon, and Goku lost.

makes sense, "real spider-man" fans are cucks just like peter so i see why you'd prefer him over Miles

Wut? Of course he abandoned it, he plan worked and was therefore over at that point. Gohan became so strong that whatever was in his way got deleted that day, no matter how much came out of Cell's ass. It happened and it happened because of him, with some help.

you're living in a dream world

>he plan worked and was therefore over at that point.
The plan to get Gohan to transform? He abandoned that before Gohan actually did transform. It didn't work so he gave up on it, Gohan not fighting wasn't part of the plan, the Cell jrs weren't part of the plan, 16 wasn't part of the plan. Everything that actually works out is in spite of Goku's original plan, not because of it.

This
Batman killed Jason and then got another kid
Batman beats Dick a lot

Milescucks and Shitku fans are cucks and jobbers. No wonder losers like you prefer him over Superman and Spider-Man.

>Superman
Gay son that replaced him and a black Superman that will replace his live-action counterparts

>Spider-man
Missing daughter and officially cucked.

>130396702
Quads beats trips. You're forever btfo.

That doesn't make any sense, otherwise 16 wouldn't have said anything, the Cell Jrs would have never shown up. I agree on the Gohan not fighting part, since I've been saying that all this time, but 16 literally tells Gohan jack if Goku doesn't tell his reasoning for his insane moves. He was the only one who we knew for a fact knew Gohan had potential, everyone else heard him and therefore we don't have evidence of anyone knowing something similar. Hell, most of them confirmed they knew nothing like that before. Cell figured it out after hearing Goku while fighting Gohan and brought out the Cell JRs, 16 somehow figured it out on Goku's announcement or it was an insane move on blind faith for him from Goku's plan.

Nothing happens without Goku talking about it, just DBZ ending right then and there to Cell killing everyone.

>otherwise 16 wouldn't have said anything, the Cell Jrs would have never shown up.
Both things not part of Goku's plan, and yeah, they happen because of Goku, but they don't WORK OUT because him, only in spite of him. Every move he makes during the Cell Games requires someone else to clean up his mess.

16's efforts work out because of Goku, his 2 cents being thrown in literally can't even exist without Goku. He speaks, Goku's plan is finalized when he dies. Cell tries with the Cell jrs but that fails, but again, wouldn't EVEN EXIST without Goku's plan.

>16's efforts work out because of Goku, his 2 cents being thrown in literally can't even exist without Goku.
You are giving credit that belongs to 16 to Goku, you might as well just give it to Vegeta for letting Cell becom perfect in the first place.
>He speaks, Goku's plan is finalized when he dies
Literally not part of Goku's plan, Goku had already given up on the plan.
>Cell tries with the Cell jrs but that fails, but again, wouldn't EVEN EXIST without Goku's plan.
Something still not part of Goku's plan. You are attributing the actions of other characters to Goku as if they have no agency beyond him.
