And for that matter, despite what Marvel claims, their universe has been rebooted. Her remembering the cold war can be explained the same way Magneto was born pre ww2 and Stark remembers fighting the Soviet Union. Heroes reborn, universe remade, etc etc. Aka, either

Yeah, well, 1) a story about dealing with trauma isn't something I like, in general. Especially in superheroes.Superheroes should be escapist power fantasies and not be about people I feel sorry for. 2) We live in a victimhood-focused era. It's impossible to have her a tragic past and not make her story about her tragic past or how it affects her, with current writers.
3)I admit there's a chance 2) makes me feel 1).

Her movie wasn't that bad. The part in the past was great. The main 4 and the dysfunctional family dynamic was good. Natasha being human and having good relationships was good.
The action was bland at best.
Both villains were atrociously bad.
There was a good movie somewhere in there but it suffered a lot from needing to be feminist with the villain.
