I have my issues with the last episode, The newts are kind of an afterthought in the first half, you don't get anyone recognizable outside of Tritonio.
As for the second half it was OK but I'm surprised the epic battle lasted so short, so much buildup for basically being defeated so easily.
Also Sasha became an hypocritical bitch in here, she just had an episode all about forgiveness and second chances but completely forgot about it in this episode.

The entire point of the show is that they have a genuine love and care for each other, but are toxic as fuck and need to grow as people to 'fix' their friendship. It's why Sasha sacrifices her life for Anne directly after fucking everything up for her. It's why Marcy plots to keep them trapped despite feeling isolated in their friendship. The three of them WANT to be friends, but their own personal flaws are getting in the way.
And like you always could, you can argue that Sasha and Marcy were genuinely never friends, but that's beside the point.
