Ginger's VA seems younger than most of the cast, and also doesn't seem as trained of a singer. And she is the main singer in this song. Plus it relies on auto tune at points which is a turn off for some people.
I think the song is just okay. Certainly not up there with the best but it is decently catchy as a "Safety Dance" parody.
